So far, I am very pleased with the purchase. It works as it should. The people who complain about the "noise" almost persuaded me to not buy this. But it IS NOT noisy. It has about as much noise as a small fan on low setting. Unless you cook in your recording studio, it isn't a problem at all.

At 1800 Watts (claimed) this heats water FAST. The timer is helpful and works well. Our only complaints are that the fan isn't as quiet as we'd like (wife is quite sensitive to any noise) and the "beep" when changing any settings is loud and annoying. We had purchased another one with a cast iron surface, but that broke after a few weeks (we believe it was a faulty switch) so we had to return it. Would purchase this Nafewin one again as it does what it is meant to do, and does it well.
