Well worth the money no issues fogging up on colder days. I ride pretty much year round in central CA and for winter it’s nice not having to crack the visor to clear it up. Bought 2 one for clear and mirrored visor.

If your thinking about purchasing this pinlock shield think no further. I bought this for my gold visor and let me tell you this thing is worth its weight in gold. NO MORE FOGGING UP INSIDE MY HELMET DON'T MATTER HOT/COLD. MAKES AN AWESOME HELMET THAT MUCH BETTER.

Installed on my Simpson Outlaw Bandit. Fits perfectly. For those that are whining about how easy it scratches, and those that might think it is permanently yellow.1)- you need to know what youre doing and how to care for a pinlock.2) the "yellow" is the film on the back of the pinlock. Keeps it from getting all screwed up during shipping.3) Installation is easy. Wipe down and clean the inside of your visor FIRST, and then don't touch the visor again in your field of vision. Press into place on the visor, and then peel the film off and your good to go.Works perfectly. !

These pinlock things are incredible. I had to constantly ride with my visor partially open in the 20 degree weather because I couldn't see anything at all because it was so foggy. Even with anti-fog spray and a balaclava to disperse the breath before it hit the visor, any more than 10 seconds at less than 30 mph and I was blind. I put this pinlock insert on my Ghost Bandit (which took maybe 10 seconds; it took longer to get the visor off than it did to install the insert) and now I can't fog up my helmet if I try. Literally, I was out the other day and tried to intentionally fog up my visor. I couldn't do it. Couldn't get more than the little area right above my nose. Nowhere near enough to interfere with my vision. And even that little bit took a concerted effort. It'll never fog up at all under normal use.

Do it....worth every penny. I wore my helmet in the house for twenty minutes with the visor and vents closed and no fog.

Perfect fit, easy to install, works perfectly like it should. Just be very easy wiping the inside down, I wouldn't use any lense cleaner or anything. Easy to scratch like most pinlocks
