Frankly, it did not occur to me that any Ottoman would be harsh on my skin. And especially woven leather. But this was woven of stiff leather. Not comfortable to the touch, sent it back.

I have to say I was not expecting the texture of these Ottomans. They’re like a weird rubbery tacky material. The worst part is the smell. It smells like chemicals and it’s strong! I had to put them out on the porch. Don’t think I will be keeping.

This is cute but expensive. It’s sturdy, very firm and full. I’m Not sure it’s worth ninety something dollars but i had a hard time finding a black pouf that i liked so I’ll keep this.

Bought this for hubby after he had knee surgery. He loves it. Very comfortable. Great color and very nice material.

I purchased two of these. One arrived and looked okay but the other pouf was very misshapen. Also, both poufs looked distressed, like the woven leather had been damaged -- which by the way, does not look like leather at all. The poufs look very cheap. I contacted Amazon about replacing the misshapen pouf and was directed to contact the vendor directly. The vendor has not been cooperative. I guess I'll go the regular Amazon route next and simply return the poufs. I would not buy anything from Simpli Home again.
