This ottoman is well constructed. It is a crocheted product. I can't tell if hand made or machine fabricated. In any case, it does look good. It is not large. It is enough for two feet to rest upon. It does dress the living room with its quaintness. It is a firm piece. You can sit on it but I caution you. It is shaped like a ball and one could easily 'roll' off of it.This does exactly what I wanted it to do.Five Stars

We wanted to get an ottoman for a chair we have in our rarely used front room to make the space a little more comfortable. But given we don't use the room a ton, we didn't want to spend hundreds. Our chair is a neutral beige color and someone had suggested getting a matching fabric ottoman. In searching around, we came across this one and figured for the price, it was worth a shot.We were not expecting anything that would feel or look particularly premium, but to our surprise, it really does. I'm sure it's mass produced, but it actually looks like it could be hand crocheted. It's quite firm, so you can sit on it, but don't expect it to be like a bean bag chair. It doesn't have much give at all -- which is good, since its role is to be a nice place to rest your feet -- but not have them sink in.Recognize that at 20" in diameter, it's not large, but that's good for us since we don't have extra space in the room we use it in. The beige color we got is very neutral like the chair itself, and just nicely blends into the room. I don't know how durable it will be and whether it could recover from a spill, for instance. But then again we didn't spend an arm and a leg on it -- and it looks nice and works well in the meantime.So this is an easy 5-star review. It's a product that fulfills its promise and then exceeds expectations.

(Cat for scale)My daughter is obsessed with this pouff. The knit cover has shifted a bit since she is rough on it sometimes, but it’s held up great. Our one cat (pictured) likes to scratch it sometimes and I still haven’t noticed any frayed or damaged parts. We haven’t had any big spills on it, so I can’t say if it’s easy to clean, but overall I’m pretty impressed.

This is either what some call a footrest, ottoman, hassock or some other word, basically a place to rest your feet when sitting in your easy chair, in other words the non-recliner type of chair. Others may see it as an individual piece of décor to be used to fill a void space or perhaps a place for kitty to take her nap in the sunlight. It can be all those things and more. For me it is a footrest for a TV watching chair that I want to be comfortable, attractive and easy to move out ofthe way during the daytime.WHAT YOU GETThis is fully assembled and ready to go, unlike so many similar ones that require inflating or stuffing with something. The filling is firm enough that you could sit on it without sinking in and it is finished on all sides including top and bottom so it can literally be used any way you want, even on a large shelf.WHAT I LIKEThe quality of workmanship is perfect, this does not look like a bargain store item, rather something I would find in a high-end interior decorating shop.TO BE IMPROVED ONOn a strictly value basis maybe it seems a little costly but I don’t agree, it is actually far less than I might expect to pay at one of those import stores.YES NO MAYBENot only is it practical but it is beautiful too, I like it.

So this thing is huge. I read the dimensions and even understood them. I was still surprised when I took it out of the giant box. The weave part was a little off on one side but I just flipped it over. I'm not sure what it's filled with, feels like compressed sawdust or something, but it is definitely sturdy! I think even my fat butt could sit on it....I wouldn't be able to get up though lol. Even as just a decorative piece, it has a quality and unique look to it. I do think kids and limber adults could sit on it. I think it would hold up too, the rope on the outside is sturdy. Now I just have to find a place for this massive thing in my tiny house! I recommend, it is very nice.

The Pouf Ottoman Foot Rest is a great option for those looking for a low cost foot stool to rest their legs on etc. I was looking for a budget friendly foot rest that I could slide under my desk to rest my feet on from time-to-time. The ottoman itself appears to be well made, constructed of heavy duty rope like material. Note, this is not a soft, plush ottoman, but rather a sturdy, firm foot rest. I really have nothing negative to say about the item. Mine measured around 13 inches in height and roughly 20 inches in length for reference purposes. It is also very light weight and as previously mentioned well constructed and built to last. The only minor annoyance is mine does have a slight odor that I am hoping will dissipate over time and or usage. FYI... this is not something you can smell without pressing your nose up against the material.
