After only about 4 months they start to fall apart. I highly doubt that they are actually made from silicone like claimed. They feel like the cheap rubber blades. Only consolation is that they are cheap in price as well cheap in quality.

Second time I purchased these Chinese silicon replacements for my 2011 Mazda 3. Both times they failed after 3 to 20 wipes. Live in Las Vegas. They did go through 3 months of heat before I tried them, but both times they failed after just a few wipes of the blade. I was able to install them easily. That was good. But the silicon? failed at the point between the metal wiper blade and the thin silicon section the runs all the way down the blade. That portion is very thing. Maybe 1-3 mm. I replaced the two front and the back wiper that serves the hatchback window. Everything failed. I would not recommend!

I was able to install this in f-150 stock wipers. Don’t know if they are silicone or rubber (let me know if there is way to differentiate). They should make the packaging of two instead of four (sell u extra but no need) which can brings the price down. Will see how they hold up overtime.

These are the perfect replacement for the silicone wiper blades on my 2015 Nissan LEAF. It has a 26 inch, a 16 inch, and a 10 inch long wiper on the rear window. You tear the product in half to create a virgin edge. Then I cut one half at the 10 inch mark leaving the 16 inch I needed. The front edges slide out of my Rain-X blades and you just slide in the new edges in their place bumping the outside end against the stop to keep the new edges in place. The rear wiper was original and is a little trickier. The rear blade has two metal strips that must be reused. They support the length of the edge and must be carefully put back just like the original edge. They are so smooth and quiet they rock.

First, what these are and are not. These are replacements for the RUBBER WIPER THAT ACTUALLY CONTACTS THE WINDSHEILD. They are NOT the rubber wiper and the stainless steel strips that hold the rubber in place. They are also NOT a complete wiper blade. That said, they are silicone, they are Siamesed so they must be pulled apart, and they are not usable if you do not have the stainless steel retaining strips from the old wipers.Since I am mechanically inclined, the fact that I have to play with them a bit is not an issue. The upside is that:1. Several new sets can be curled up in the glove box and take up almost no space.2. I don't end up forever forgetting to replace them until the storm hits--because they're already in the car.3. I don't have to remember the two DIFFERENT sizes the darling engineers decided to use on the car (just cut to length).4. They do a great job for very little money.Every car in the family fleet is now glovebox equipped for a rainstorm!

Bought for my 2016 Prius because they made them a very weird size that no one carries. Ultimately found out they were intentionally replaceable and that sent me here. These are very cheap and easy enough to cut to your size. I found out it's much easier to cut off both ends where the end part is because it doesnt work to slide in very well. They worked very well but it's only been 2 weeks. Going to buy a second set just to keep in the car. Good product if they only work for 6 months though. So cheap.

I was torn between replacing the blades in my Rain-X latitude blades with this, or buying the expensive silicone wipers from PIAA. naturally I did both. on my drivers side I have a PIAA Si-Tech 19" wiper, and on the other side a 19" Rain-X latitude with the cheap silicone refill installed on it. on another vehicle I have a 24" Michelin endurance XT wiper on the drivers side and another 19" Rain-X latitude with this silicone refill. After 3 months, I occasionally get some chatter from the refill, but most of the time it runs smooth. When it runs smooth, the water removal of the PIAA and the refill is similar most of the time, leaving a haze of water that evaporates about equally as fast.I believe that the reason I get chatter some times is due to a minor mismatch of the replacement element and the wiper holding it, as the original blade had a base ever so slightly wider and thicker, so the blade has a small amount of movement in it's holder. The result isn't amazing in my case, as the fit is not perfect, but it may be improved if the fit were a bit better. I did like them enough to buy a second set when the first need replacing, given that the shipping took a while.

I ordered these for my VW Jetta. It has blade wipers. Easy to install. Use tweezers to lift tabs, while pushing end cap off. slide off next piece (windspoiler) to make it easier to pull the old rubber out. Slide windspoiler back on paying attention to orientation. Slide in rubber. Reinstall endcap - listen for the click. I needed 24" and 19" and trimmed to length with scissors. The original rubber had a tiny stop near one end so the rubber couldn't work its way out of the blade when wiping. These did not. I applied a drop of silicon caulk at the same location. I will find out how that works.
