I was pleasantly surprised when I used it for the first time. It strained the pasta without a problem. Theonly downside is that it's a little too floppy when it's heated. That's the reason for the 4 instead of 5.Cleanup was easy.

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for - I don't have an instant pot, but I've been looking for a silicone steamer that I could use to hardboil eggs without scratching the coating on my nonstick pots. Works like a charm.

If you have a steamer that is just OK -- do it! This is so easy to use and clean. I had another, but this allowed for a much greater volume of stuff. It makes maximal use of my 6 qt IP. Happy with the purchase.

I use it as a steamer basket in my 6 qt Instant Pot AND in my 8 qt regular stovetop pot for veggies, shrimp etc. It doesn't get too hot to lift out with bare hands. No plastic taste imparted to food. Goes through dishwasher with ease. My 3 qt instant pot liner fits right into it. When I use the 3 qt liner for pot-in-pot cooking in the 6 qt Instant Pot, I use this to lift out the smaller pot. Very handy!

Just what I needed! When I steam broccoli, I need a container with tall sides. This tool answers that request.I found it easy to load the basket with broccoli. It contained the veg during pressure steaming. As well, it held the veg in the container as it functioned like a colander to drain.I am pleased with this user friendly, large volume, and collapsible (easy to store) product.

Fit's perfectly in my 6 qt instant pot and it is so much easier to use than my old metal steamer basket. The silicone steamer basket is collapsible so it saves space, it can hold a good amount of food and the handles make for easy removal. I would definitely recommend it, makes steaming potatoes, corn, lots of eggs and vegetables easier. So glad I bought this basket!

I wanted a steam basket that could work in boiling water in a pot on the stove. The fact it's large in size (but can be folded down on the sides for smaller pots) to steam is a plus. I've used it for steaming veggies and have run it (easily( through my (top) of the dishwasher. Easy to clean. It's better than the stainless steel one I've used for years that has some of the fold up slats missing.

Every time I tried to steam my vegetables, they would all end up in the bottom of my steamer... laying in the water and mushy. With this product, my vegetables turned out perfect and were easy to remove. I could use this as a colander to wash my veggies, then put it in my pressure cooker to steam them, and then remove them all at once. It made things so much easier ... and better as well. Then, you just throw it in the dishwasher and clean up is a breeze. Thank you
