Work great

This funnel works really well for draining resin from your SLA printer vat. While the filters don't fit perfectly into the funnel, they fit just fine and stay put. To address some other reviews, the funnel is sturdy and does not collapse while using it. You obviously cannot rest your vat on it, you have to hold it above the funnel, but again, that should be obvious when using anything other than a solid plastic funnel. It's very easy to clean; the cured resin just pops right off the silicone.

Before I purchased this draining the resin from the tank through the filter back into the bottle was a messy and frustrating process. Now I just put in the funnel with a filter cone and I can empty the resin easily without making any mess. Then I can just put the cone and funnel in front of my US light. Dispose of the paper cup with cured resin and flex the silicone funnel and watch the cured resin just drop right off. This has solved the biggest hassle I had in my resin 3d printing process.

Don't be a like me and not fully expand your silicone funnel, spilling 3d printing resin everywhere like a big dum dum. The paper filters feel super cheap because they are, but they do the exact same job more expensive ones do. You're gonna be using a million of them so you might as well get the cheapest ones you possibly could.

Get a rigid funnel for the love of all that is holy! I wish I had know this when I started out. This pack looks handy but that filter is silicone and collapsible. Know what happens when you try and pour a vat of heavy viscous resin into one? It collapses on one side. You already have your hands full with the vat. Yay. The filters are fine otherwise. I guess the idea here was that with a flexible funnel you could flex off any stuck resin. Just clean it. I use water washable resin which makes that a non-issue anyway.

I’m using this funnel and the strainers for pouring 3D printer resin back into the bottle. It works fine but it can be a bit hard to hold the bottle, the funnel, and a strainer all at once without making a mess. Since it is a collapsible funnel, it is a bit flimsy, and the strainer doesn’t necessarily sit in the funnel nicely. The resin sticks a bit to the silicone but it does rinse out okay. I think I would have been better off with a hard plastic funnel for this particular purpose, since space saving is not really an issue in my setup. Maybe it will work better for your purposes.

Like others, I bought this for filtering UV resin after printing. I thought the funnel would be perfect to hold the filters as they are about the same size, and another review said how great it was... it wasn't. I was not as careful as I should have been, and the collapsible sides of the funnel did exactly what they were made to do, and collapsed -- spilling resin everywhere. Just get a dollar store set of hard sided plastic funnels to use. I'm not saying you can't use the funnel - but I personally think its just too flimsy to risk it, given the cost of resins. (Also, cleaning up a spill is both difficult and depressing.) But the filters themselves are great.

Great buy! This is a good price for a product set that is often over-priced and sold as a "special 3D PLA equipment". The filters and funnel are of high quality and work perfectly for straining resin back into the bottle while eliminating any bits of cured resin or other debris.
