Seems fine, but not what I needed (because I needed a side fill). It is really big and seems like it would be splash free. The funnel comes out directly in the middle of the bottom of the filter.

Works great use it on a race car with a fuel cell in the trunk area so the no spill or splash is important and works

You can straight douse this thing with fluids and no splashy splashy. Comes with a nice screen to filter out the bad bad things.

I have purchased many funnels over the years, in fact in the past I have always bought a large red one, I don't remember the name of that one-and while it was good, I couldn't find that same funnel in my local store and reluctantly purchased this one off of Amazon because I needed one in a hurry, but also thinking it would not be as good. As they say in the gangster movies "Fuget about it!" -this funnel is the BEST one I ever bought,-whoever designed this one knew what they were doing. The shape of it, the black ring on the top which holds splash totally to zero-the fine-mesh of the screen to protect debris from going into my fuel tank, the amount of fuel capacity it can take without spilling over as I pour it from my 5 gallon container--in every way this funnel is a winner! ~ I am a funnel maniac in finding the right funnel and have purchased many different ones over the years and this one is truly the top-of-the-line!

We use it to drain the fryer. Best funnel I've ever had. I highly recommend it. It will funnel all liquids. Please note that 1/2 dollar coins will NOT fit. That's the only bummer.
