Not what I was expecting, I know my eggs arenโt that small and when I wash them , you have to squeeze it to wash , and hope you donโt break the eggs in the process.

As our family continues to grow our small flock, we find that we are now getting more eggs than we could possibly eat. While putting slightly soiled eggs in the refrigerator only to wash right before eating is fine with us, we realize it may not be pleasant for those we give eggs to. This small egg cleaner is just the thing we were looking for to knock off the more obvious debris that sometimes attaches to our eggs while apparently leaving the protective coating on the eggs that allow them to remain fresh longer. We have found it best to store the dirty eggs in the refrigerator and only use the cleaner right before loading an egg carton is the best method for us. When we tried to use it immediately after collecting eggs we found that it would be more likely to leave smudges and smears on the shells. After using it on a dozen or so eggs, a quick cleaning in the sink is all it needs. We then set it aside to dry before using it again. The size is ideal for our eggs, it looks nice, and seems like a relatively inexpensive item for what it does.
