Upon receiving the earring backs with yellow gold, I tested one with a diamond earring that has screw post. I was able to put the post in the backs, but once I took the back off the gold came right out. It is like a gold flake, would rather not have the gold in it at this point. For 6$ I’ll keep it for emergencies but not worth buying if you wanted the gold aspect.

I was having trouble with the backs of my earrings falling off and then replacements were causing irritation to my ears. I decided to try these and have had no issues. They are staying on without hurting my ears. I will say if you have multiple piercings close together they may not work for you as they are a little bulky.

This type of back came with my favorite pair of earrings. I lost one so couldn't wear them. Was so glad to find these! I like the shape of these more as they're easier to hold onto than the original ones that came with the earrings. And they fit the post perfectly. So glad to wear my favorite earrings again!

I love them. my earrings always hitting behind my ears and it hurts when i sleep. these cover the ends and work perfect. they are an end cap. the silver showing is very small, there is no twisting on, they just slide on. worn for 1 day now and they are still there. tight fit. I would buy again.

At first I was very pleased with these “14k real solid gold” hypoallergenic siliconed earring backs. They held my earrings on great and didn’t bother my ears. Then a couple weeks later, I took them off to clean them more thoroughly and found that the gold backs were both greenish blue in colour on the inside of the silicone.If these were truly 14k solid gold like described, they shouldn’t have turned green!! Very disappointing! By the time I discovered this issue, I was past the 30 day return window and when I tried to contact the seller, I got an email stating I the seller was unavailable to help solve my issue.

Bought these for my new diamond earrings so I can wear them to bed without the stud stabbing into my skin. They are very comfortable I barely notice they are they and they hold my earring securely in place. I initially had crystal gold earrings that had screw backs - loved those because they were so comfy but the got these new earrings for my birthday but found out they had butterfly backs. I’m soooo glad I found these alternatives online, the quality I personally find is good. Yes the price is pretty steep for the silicon backs and yes you can buy like a 100 pack online but I was only looking for 1 pair and a good quality pair that was reliable. There is a tiny little butterfly clip inside the silicon I really don’t know why there are reviews saying it’s a disk? It just doesn’t look like the typical butterfly backing you’d usually see. It’s just slightly smaller than normal. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!

The earring backs are fantastic! By making them with the gold and the plastic and closing it on one end it creates a very tight grip! Before (with 2 different backings on my ears) my earring would fall out several times a week and I'd have to have them very tight. Now my ears aren't squeezed and red anymore and my earrings are secured safely!
