I have gotten a few of these because I have four kids who are all very crafty and into art. This one is for me though. I have recently gotten into doing the book nook miniature houses. The pieces are so tiny and the little spots on this mat are perfect for keeping them contained and where I can see them. Also its great for letting the glue dry because the glue doesn't adhere to the silicone. You can just peel it off and it doesn't destroy the tiny furniture I have made. This mat is so versatile.

Used this set this weekend for easter egg painting. This is a nice set to easily setup a section on the table for your child to paint. I always dreaded letting the kids paint since they get it everywhere. I know it is part of the fun but the clean up is never fun. This mat made it easy to clean up. The included cup for the brushes was a nice addition. The only tip I give is that you should still use separate trays for the paint. It will be easier to clean the paint trays that way.
