Product Review: SilasPro 5mm Sound Deadening Material for vehicles. I recently upgraded my truck with SilasPro 5mm Sound Deadening Material on the floor, roof, rear firewall, and doors. It took 2 1/2 cases to do a complete comprehensive install.Noise Reduction: The effectiveness in reducing noise is impressive. It dampens road noise, engine, exhaust rumble, and vibrations, making my trucks interior much quieter. I can now enjoy music and conversations without the execive outside noise.Installation: Installation was straightforward. Material cuts easily, and very flexible which allows following the floor contours relatively easily. The self-adhesive backing is very strong and adheres well to anything it comes in contact with. (careful what it touches) Make sure you follow the contours of your vehicle carefully and ensure contact is made everywhere. Don't leave gaps where it doesn't touch. Material Quality: The quality of SilasPro 5mm Sound Deadening Material is excellent. It is thick and dense, which is key for absorbing sound, resonations, and vibrations. Despite its thickness (5mm), it's surprisingly lightweight, so it doesn't add much weight to the vehicle.Value: Excellent value for money. It performs on par with, if not better than, many more expensive brands in the market.Final Thoughts: Excellent product for anyone looking to improve the sound deadening of their vehicle. Its installation has made a noticeable difference, creating a quieter and more enjoyable ride.

Super sticky. The only problem i ran into was the heat. ( south texas) when it was really hot it was difficult to pill the paper backing off. May not be so bad if you are in the shade or cooler temps. I'm not blaming the manufacturer tho it's just hot in south texas.A friend of mine also recommended using aluminum tape on the seams so the glue won't stick to the carpet or panels when you need to remove them.Big difference in road noise and music sounds a lot clearer.

These are a solid pick. The adhesive is easy to work with and they haven't peeled after the several months I've had them installed. They're easy to cut with scissors or a knife and stick to uneven surfaces really well. I would really recommend these as a cheaper alternative to sound deadening.

Bought several boxes of this and the heavier sound deadener matting to help quieten an 09 Ram diesel. Man does this stuff work great! Did my pillars, floor, roof, fire wall and doors with both stages and it sounds like I’m driving a Caddy now. Super sticky stuff, I’d recommend doing it earlier morning or in a climate controlled garage/shop, once it’s hot outside or the product gets hot it becomes quite messy to work with.

Great price, easy to install and cut with exacto knife. Word to the wise; Don't sit on it while installing it. I was wearing Pj's and it was a little warm and the adhesive stuck to them-I just tossed them

Used inside the driver and passenger doors. Quiets down the road noise and kills the resonance of any sounds that get in. Keeps my music from rattling my doors and their door panels. Soft and very sticky. CLEAN THE SURFACES THAT YOURE USING THIS ON THOROUGHLY. Use rubbing alcohol. Also buy a roller. You need to push hard to apply this. Great upgrade for any car. Works awesome. Worth the little money it costs. It takes a lot of work to install depending on what you’re doing. Flexible. Don’t notice a heat difference. Tint is a better option if the heat is bothering you. Also, prepare for your hands to get sliced up rummaging around in your doors.

I’ve used three different companies so far and have not been impressed until I bought from Silus. Very thick and sticks very well. It also has a great degree of flex which is great if you need to stretch it a bit for fitting. I’ve noticed a huge difference and don’t need to turn the radio up near as loud to drown out driving noise coming into the cabin.
