Tillage Depth & Operation:
Depth Control: Determined by blade design, soil conditions, and operating techniques. The skid plate reduces resistance but does not control depth.
Soft Soil: Adjust blade-to-soil distance to avoid excessive depth. If digging too deep, raise the control lever slightly or shorten the lifting rods.
Hard Soil: Improve penetration by shortening the upper link, adding weight, shifting to a lower gear, or increasing blade shaft speed.

I’ve never bought something like this before blindly from Amazon but boy am I pleased. This tiler is tough and rugged. Heavy gauge metal and easy instructions. Plows right through tough ground with ease. I have a 25 horse power LS tractor and it had zero problems lifting this heavy duty tiller nor has any issues tilling through rocky ground. Seller was east to communicate with and tiller arrived on time.
