It's heavy.Picture quality is amazing. Corners at 24mm are a bit stretched. Some vinyeting. reversable lens hood button is a pain in the ass.

Using with Sony A7III. Very fast autofocus. Better then Sony 35mm 1.8.But soaps the left edge, not critical.More natural color balance then Sony 35mm 1.8.I like it.

I've been using this lens pretty often lately, and it is a great and versatile lens. My only complaint is that the picture don't look as sharp as my 50mm fix lens, but that is expected it guess.

This lens is on my camera 99% of the time. From wide angle to close up shots this will have you covered. The shots I have gotten from this camera have helped me bring on clients and start a photography business. If you are trying to find an all in one lens this is it! The only thing it might not be the best at is vlogging, but for everything else, this is it!

I took this on trips to Vietnam and Italy within the last 18 months. Captured great images on Sony cameras. Low light abilities when shooting camera RAW produced excellent images.

Para los que nos dedicamos a esto, sabemos que todo es bastante costoso. sigma cumple al 100% por un precio mucho más razonable. Lo recomiendo completamente.

i love this so much more than my previous Sony 24-70 2.8. i sold the used Sony for $1200 and got this one for $600 something. ended up having money to spare for another two primes. this lens is much smaller. huge help for long shoots and when packing for other gear. super sharp and what i love is that it’s a 67mm thread like both my sony 85 1.8 and my sigma 10-18 2.8.

The lens came in its original box, well-packaged and arrived on time. This lens is excellent for travel photos. And with its f 2.8, I can shoot in low-light or outdoors. What I love most is the size and weight of this lens. Small and light means I can take it everywhere I go. And the images are outstanding. Very happy with my purchase.

This lens is built with the usual great Sigma quality that has been in evidence since the creation of the Global Vision lineup. IQ is excellent, AF is fast and accurate, and the design is great. It pairs well with the Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DGDN. Now Sigma just needs a long tele-zoom to go with it.

Within the first few shots I fell in love with this lens. The size and weight, the image quality and the colors. Amazing. I adore this lens.If your nit-picky, you should know about this:-distortion at the min and max focal lengths-poor corner sharpness wide open at 70mm-chromatic aberration-The distortion doesn’t bother me. I shoot RAW exclusively so everything gets processed in Lightroom before it’s done. This is a checkbox and done-the poor corner sharpness at 70mm is a slight bummer, but it isn’t terrible if you’re not pixel peeping (your customers won’t be) and even so, the image quality is so stellar otherwise that this is a small price to pay. Especially for a “budget” lens like this-chromatic aberration can sometimes be a bit harder to take care of but if you’ve previously owned other sigma contemporary lenses, then you’re already used to this. After some Lightroom tweaks, you’ll produce a result that’s phenomenal and your customers won’t notice anything that’s left. All that being said, don’t take any of those negatives out of proportion. No lens is perfect, and for the price, you’re already getting a stellar product. Bottom line is that it takes gorgeous photos and it’s a nice looking lens as well (not that it matters). The size, weight, image quality and price all add iup to making this a killer lens that I look forward to enjoying for years.

I have been extremely happy with this lens. It basically takes the place of several primes, and since there is not yet a 40mm prime available for L mount, I am able to use my favorite focal length with the quality expected from a prime lens. Excellent sharpness, color, contrast, etc in both stills and video. Bokeh is pleasing, and the f2.8 aperture is plenty fast. The included lens hood is sometimes difficult to remove, but not a deal-breaker. No stabilization either, but the IBIS of the Lumix S5 makes up for that. I have no regrets with this lens whatsoever, and highly recommend it.
