Got these for some carriage lights that have the taller mount. These work great on my aluminum siding. Nothing is perfect and I recommend using silicone around the outside to seal it up and give it a better finish. They install easy, I just would not use them as their own electrical box. The build quality is good but only time will tell on the UV resistance. Overall I'm very happy and will get more when I need them.

We just re-did the siding on our home in the mountains before the winter hit and this is one of those items you will just don't think about until you have to put the light back up. Yeah for Amazon and having sellers like this to have the light mount we need in black that is the whole kit.Worked perfectly and was easy to install and got it so fast love that this type of product is readily available and of quality.

This outdoor siding light mount plate comes with the instructions and hardware for installation. The instructions are easy to read and easy to follow if you need the help. The mount is easy to install your outdoor light on if you have the right size light for it. The plastic is heavy duty and weather resistant. Looks nice and easy on the pockets.

If you are mounting light fixtures on a vinyl siding house, these mounting blocks are a must have. The mounting block gives you a flat surface to use by conforming to the siding and the electrical box is built in. The blocks conform to the siding well and mounting is as easy as using a couple of screws.As important as these blocks are to use, I find them very expensive for a simple piece of plastic. There may be oethers more affordable but I chose these for maximum siding coverage.

These are great for adding light over siding after installation / renovation. Gives a proper flat mounting surface. Make for an easy quick install of extra exterior lighting.
