So far this has been amazing product for patching 30-year-old in-ground pool as DIY. Shipping is faster than advertised. I do advise starting with larger 55-lb bucket due to per-Lb cost savings; and better to have too much than too little if you have tight project timeline. This was stop-gap DIY patch project until we can afford $6-$10,000 cost to tear down and replaster. Will report back in a few months after all the water has been back in for awhile, but doing its "temporarily permanent" job well.

So I do like the product, allthough my finish even with a wet trowel and not smooth as the plaster. Mixing it was not particularly easy, not terribly hard either, but you will work. here was my issue, I bought enough by the sq ft quoted by the company to do nearly all of the 40 holes in my pool, it did one, as in one single two ft hole. So if you have delam and you need plaster, I'd consider getting like 1,000 dollars worth or more, or get pool plaster bulk. It did stick fairly good as well. The product is a good product, just not terribly good for big jobs.

My old, plaster pool has taken a beating due to years of disrepair from the previous owners. I underwent an entire remodel this year, which included chipping out lots of the loose plaster, re-plastering with this product, sanding, and then painting the entire pool. This patch was easy to mix and work with, dried pretty quickly to a bright white, and was nice and solid from a sanding perspective. I'd use it again (but I hope not to have to).

This stuff is incredible! We had multiple areas of delamination in the pool and hot tub at the house we moved into. We tried other products but found them difficult to work with because they all dried too fast. The others also often cracked. The Sider Plaster Patch allows plenty of work time before drying, didn’t crack, and makes a solid bond. If you need to make repairs to your pool, this is the product to get it done. I HIGHLY recommend it!

learned a lesson on my 1st patch, don't add to much water. It still worked great just took longer to dry. This is amazing mix of extremely dense plaster/concrete/silica that sets like rock. Thank you will hopefully not have to patch more than the 55lb bucket, but if I do I'll order sider again.
