Avoid. Especially if you use your shower daily. I installed the first one mid-November 2024. Tonight it came apart at the pipe while my wife was washing her hair! Had they used brass instead of plastic the thing would have lasted for years. No way I can see to repair it. The only reason for 2 stars is that it did work well until it fell apart.

tells temperature and time without batteries. I'm enjoying the features. I can quietly hear the turbine generator which I think is neat. It doesn't seem to harm my flow rate, at least not enough to notice. I've only had it 2 months, so jury's out on longevity.

Has colored LED showing cold, normal and hot temp. (Even a child would know not to touch if too hot.) Turns on at even slightest flow. Large display.

I am an engineer, and this really should be better made. It is not suitable for use in a shower where components may be heavy. It is made out of plastic and is not structurally sound. I'm also concerned it will leak and die from water damage, but we will see. The longitudinal axis rotation makes it unsuitable for certain applications too.Otherwise, it functions and could be great with a thoughtful re-design.

I had a similar product from another company for many years and it finally stopped working. I use this with a few adapters to connect to my sink to fill the water to my aquarium. It allows you to adjust the water temperature before it fills the aquarium. One caution as I initially thought the unit was leaking. I overlooked a gasket with a screen. Took the unit apart and noticed there was not gasket and looked in the box and there it was.

I really like having this on my shower. It isn’t necessary to have, but it is interesting to have. I know what temperatures I like, and for what reason .

This is a shower taking game changer. Not only does it measure the temperature of the water in an easy to read, bright as can be display, but it also includes a timer allowing you to see just how long it takes to reach your desired temperature. My partner and I have completely different wants when we take a shower. He likes it not as hot while I think the scolding heat is relaxing, this helps us find a happy medium between the two temperatures and even gives us a heads up for when our hot water might be running out or low.The install was the most surprising thing, with how easy it was. In less than 2 minutes of opening the package I had it installed and working perfectly. I also enjoy how unlike other shower thermometers, this one is powered by water and doesn't require batteries (because batteries are the devil!). However, there is something I do dislike about this product and that is the build quality. It isn't flimsy, but it does feel as if it might break in a couple of months but I'm hoping to be proven wrong about that!Overall, I think any and everyone would benefit from having this product for their shower!
