I struggle with burdock and fairy knots in my horses manes and tails.I've tried everything throughout the years with married success.I worked the shock treatment into my horses manes and tails - didn't get through detangling and removing burdock on all 5 horses that day. Two days later got time to finish and product had loosened burdock and knots by itself! One horse had the burdock "third ear/unicorn horn" of burdock and forelock - it was super easy to clean them out.Also one mare has a beautiful flaxen tail that drags the ground - it is always grundgy looking on the bottom foot or so. This product repelled the dirt all the way to the ground! Gorgeous!

Use at least once a week and if your horse loves to get burs in their tail this stuff will make them slide right out. It also prevents dredge locks.

Works well on mane and tail. Especially in the winter when it’s too cold to use water. Makes getting the tangles much easier to brush out. Little spendy, but worth it.

I really like this for my own hair. It has done a lovely job fixing my dry frizzy ends. I'm not sure if I really like this for my horse though. It does seem to prevent tangles and knots but also seems to attract A LOT of dirt and dust.So, I have just washed out his mane and tail and will use a different product for 30 days and see if he dries out and tangles up. If he does I will start using this product again, I prefer moisturized and dirty over dry with tangles and knots any day. And I will also update my review
