When trying to organize my shed I was looking for some industrial strength shelving that could stand up to heavier items without buckling. The shipping container shelving really did the trick. Its relatively easy to install and once its up, is incredible sturdy. According to the label, it can support up to 1500 lbs. which is way more than I needed but based on its construction, I would believe it. It is meant for very heavy duty use like in shipping containers but with a little imagination, we custom-fit it for use in the shed and then used wooden boards for the actual shelf. It comes with all the necessary parts for the braces for you to then use up your own shelves (wood, metal, etc); you just have to be a little creative with securing it to the wall. Truthfully, the instructions for assembly pretty much work the same just tweak it to fit your needs. We will be ordering more of this item to do the back wall of the shed to allow for more organizing. It was a wonderful find.

I got these heavy duty storage brackets for my basement. They work just fine. Once you make sure you are on a stud, the mounting is very easy and I was able to make my own wooden shelves from spare plywood. Great inexpensive way to add heavy duty shelves to any basement or garage.
