Decent starter rope set. Only con is the ends are not secured. They will unravel. Id suggest getting a few ferrules for the ends.

These are great ropes for your intimate activities. Very soft and its hard to create friction burns with them. Not to meantion they come with bonus Scissors that are acutually pretty good qaulity! My only complaint is my one rope, i didnt cut it or anything; became frayed at the end and started untwisting itself

I have jute ropes, cotton ropes, and now these. Each set has it's own positives and negatives. The pros recommend natural fiber like jute but these tend to be rougher on the skin. The cotton ones feel good on the skin but are quite stretchy and difficult to use well, in my very non-expert opinion. This set finds a good balance of both comfort and ease of use, though they're not natural fiber. The colors are very nice and create a very attractive look.The carrying bag is also a nice addition and provides a discreet way to transport these if necessary.The shears are definitely the weakest link in this set. I'm not even sure if they're good enough to cut through this rope and if you have any kind of emergency and need to cut them off, you don't want to be fighting with your shears. I would recommend getting some better quality ones before using these for the first time.Bottom line: for the price of less than $20 this is a good set of ropes, especially for beginners.

This is a fun adult activity kit with useful lengths of soft/quality rope. The shears are pretty dinky but should work in a pinch. Overall my partner and I are happy with this purchase and are looking forward to many more creative attempts at utilizing this for adult recreation.

I have been using rope and shibari techniques for about 10 years now, though I would not call myself an expert by any means. I can share that the people I would consider experts typically recommend natural fibers like cotton or hemp for rigging ropes, but they also want to sell you those ropes at a nice premium. I typically just buy my ropes at home depot, and this set compares well with the nicest ropes you can buy at a place like that.Having 3 different colors is nice, and lets you do some attractive things with your rigging. I also appreciate that there is a storage bag to keep everything together (though it could be a bit bigger), and the shears are a nice safety feature. Always good to have an easy out in case something gets too tight and creates a safety issue. The ropes are soft and smooth against the skin, but hold knots well enough. The length is great for what I like to do, but you may want to break a rope down if you want to be able to use shorter lengths for cuffs or anchors.My tip to those using this to get started: Make a plan for what you want to do, learn your knots, and prep your ropes ahead of time. Some people like to leave a set of Texas handcuffs ready to go in their bag so they can get some control in the scene without having to start off by standing still to tie complicated knots. There is good information online, including on YouTube these days.

These ropes come as a kit - you get three 32 foot 8mm ropes, a bag for storage and cutting shears. The shears are a bit dull but they work. The rope ends are taped. I haven't had any problems with unraveling but if you want to cut them to size, you will need to secure the ends. As a kit with a storage bag and safety shears, this is a good value. These ropes are also very good for art projects. The 8mm thickness makes them excellent for decorative purposes.
