I have no clue how this product worked out for my husband. What I do know is that he left it in his pocket, I did laundry, and NONE of the ink leaked in either the washer or the dryer. Very pleased.

These are nice- you get several nibs sizes/barrels and ink colors are lovely. Easy to change ink cartridges and also easy to change nibs. I bought for class calligraphy but I now use them when working at home. Ink and ink bottles can be problematic to me. Great purchase and good price

GIVEN THAT I'M APPROACHING MIDDLE AGE, I HARKEN BACK TO MY EARLY SCHOOL DAYS WHEN STUDENTS USED FOUNTAIN OR DIP PENS ON A REGULAR BASIS. RECENTLY I'VE BEGUN USING A FOUNTAIN PEN TO WRITE OUT MOST EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS A COMMENT, A GRADE OR A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE. IT'S FUN AND IT GIVES ME A CHANCE TO IMPROVE MY CURSIVE FORM OF WRTING, WHICH WAS NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT BACK IN THE DAY. AS A PERSONAL OPINION I'M TRULY SHIOCKED THAT MANY SCHOOLS NO LONGER TEACH CURSIVE WRITING. YOUNGSTERS I'VE RECENTLY MET HAVE ASKED A PERSON OLDER THAN THEMSELVES TO READ A MESSAGE IN CURSIVE, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT. THE SHEAFFER INK CARTRIDGES THAT I BOUGHT WORK VERY WELL AND THE SHADE OF INK ON PAPER IS QUITE SATISFACTORY. BY THE WAY, I'VE ALSO MET KIDS WHO CANNOT TELL TIME FROM AN ANALOG CLOCK.

However, occasional skipping issues were noticed during use, although this could potentially be attributed to the quality of paper used. It's worth noting that on cheaper paper, there was some bleed-through observed. Despite these minor drawbacks, the pack presents an appealing option for fountain pen enthusiasts seeking a range of expressive and captivating ink colors. The colors included were blue, black, red, purple, and green.A helpful tip is that if the pen doesn't start working right after inserting the refill, you may need the clean the nib. I soaked the nib in water for a few hours, thoroughly dried all the parts, and then reassembled it. Then it was working like magic!

I've had a "cheap" Sheaffer fountain pen for decades. I was hoping these refill cartridges would fit - and they did! I cleaned out my old pen, popped in a cartridge and it wrote perfectly. My trademark color was Peacock Blue, which they don't make any more. The Turquoise is an excellent option.

These cartridges are working perfectly in my old faithful Sheaffer. The flow is good and does not disappoint even when I start writing even after a few days.
