Operating steps:

Remove the lid from the top of the machine and add ice cubes. (Hard ice is recommended, smoothies are better).
2. Turn The Lid To The Left
Built-in hidden switch, simply turn the lid to the left to turn on the power and start cutting ice.

This was a gift for our son, who was so excited to get a snow cone maker. This machine is so fun for him, easy to use on his own and he loves making snow cones for everyone! This will be so great in the summer. It is noisy but that is to be expected from a machine that is crushing ice, but it makes the snow cone very quickly and it is a nice texture of ice.

This makes perfect, fluffy shaved ice if you use high quality freezer ice. If you buy bagged from the gas station, that makes more of a crunchy, cheap, sno-cone ice. This is the best "cheap" shaved ice maker I've ever used.Pros:Real SHAVED ice possible.EASY - just use whatever ice you have, no need to freeze awkward molds/pucksFAST - 5 seconds per cone, one cone per load of ice.Cleanup in seconds - dump leftover ice and set to dry.Cons:LOUD - apartment dwellers bewareIce sort of shoots off to the left as it forms, which throws a bunch on the counter, recommend holding cone higher and to the left while it fills for a better catch/faster fill

If you need a ice chipper - this is the machine for . Its Awesome , it is noisy but its chipping Ice what do expect.

This worked great for my brother's 10th birthday party all the kids were very impressed we went to Dollar tree and got some of the shaved ice bowls I do recommend getting those over the cones that come with it because the syrup doesn't really saturate all the ice unless you have it in more of a cup or bowl. Also as you are using it I would recommend turning the cup so the ice evenly falls. I also really like how it's got suction cups on the bottom of it so that it stays on the counter or surface properly. It also has a very neat little component where you can store the cord up into it which I thought was a cool design. Initially I was looking for the cheapest one that had the best reviews and this was it and it definitely panned out!!

Update: the machine didn't last two months. It's past the return date so I'm stuck with it. I'm so disappointed.The ice has the perfect snowy texture. The machine is loud but fast.

This was a birthday gift for my daughter and she specifically wanted a snow cone maker. This one was moderately priced and had several positive reviews. It works efficiently, although it is loud, which is to be expected. My daughter can use it on her own with supervision and clean up is super easy.

I bought this Snow Cone Machine for my granddaughter for her birthday. I wasn't expecting too much and chose this one over the other children's versions of slushie makers because I wanted one that wouldn't break easily. I was amazed and surprised at how good it worked. It worked super-fast and the ice chopped into actual snow not just small ice chips. It worked so well that now I'm going to order myself one in order to make margaritas for the holidays.

My daughter got this for her birthday. She loves the snow cones we make but boy, this thing sounds like a machine gun when it's shredding the ice! But we do use it a lot and it's holding up so I'd buy it again!
