Not sure it’s worth it. It does make the ice into several sizes. But takes forever to get 1 cup of ice for a sno cone. Definitely would not buy again.

This is a fun machine when it works correctly. My kids like snow cones or shave ice so this makes it much easier than doing it by hand. We have fun with it. It does get jammed occasionally and we have to rinse it and start again.

I had a more expensive one that looked almost the same but this one is smaller, cheaper and stronger. Of course it’s going to be loud! I don’t think that’s a reason to not give it 5 stars.

If you live in Australia DO NOT buy this product. You will NOT be able to plug it into Australian power points, it has a plug only usable in England. I thought it was illegal to sell such products in Australia.

More of a shaved ice machine with 3 different courseness settings. It works great although I was wanting more of a crushed ice variety with larger pieces. Easy to use and makes great ice for frozen drinks and cocktails and snow cones.

Got this about a month and a half ago. While it does shave the ice slowly and it is annoyingly loud, it did the job nicely. I preferred the middle size crushed ice (you have three options). I used this twice a day on weekdays and several times a day on weekends. I just love crushed ice with my Diet Dr Pepper and with my ice water. This morning it started making a SERIOUSLY loud sound and stopped spinning while I was crushing ice. Tried multiple times to clean it out and start over and it would spin a few times and then jam again. I tried using the larger size crushing option and it still jammed. While not seriously expensive, this is a pricey kitchen gadget to stop working after a couple of months. So, back to my hand-crank ice shaver. I would not recommend this product due to its seemingly constant breakdown/jamming issues (read other reviews with the same problems).

I have been having a horrible time replacing my last ice crusher since I took it to a picnic and it was broken. I was so glad I ordered this and gave it a chance. It is so nice! No water on the counter, ice crushes in seconds, and even other functions! Definitely recommend.
