I bought this as a holiday gift for a couple I know who likes cooking and hosting parties. I wanted to purchase a higher-quality set than others I'd seen previously. This did not disappoint! Everything about this product is fantastic, even the box it came in. The wood is beautiful and super smooth. The ceramic pieces are nestled into their own, carved-out niches. The drawers are well made, sliding in and out with ease. I absolutely loved this, and so did the couple.

This is a great tray with a lot of side pieces you can pop out as needed. And it comes with enough cheese forks for any amount of cheese that would actually fit on the board. It's easy to take the dishes that can hold jelly, olives, etc out and wash them in the dishwasher. (Not sure if they are supposed to go in the dishwasher, but I haven't had any problems.)

I bought 4 of these for Christmas gifts. Each were engraved. Every one of them was beautifully done and high quality . Just as important it was presented so nicely. Packaged up beautifully in a soft bag with a beautiful embossed card with my message. Really nice all around! Would highly recommend .

Let me just say, this is a beautiful, quality item that I am proud to gift to a friend who recently graduated culinary school.I wasn't sure what to think when reading reviews because people seemed to either really like it or really dislike it. One thing that stood out to me in the reviews were people stating that the board wasn't finished well, that there were rough areas on the board and it had poor craftsmanship. I did not find this to be the case with the board I received.The board I received is beautiful, finished well, and has no rough edges. It looks like a really high quality board you would buy from Pottery Barn or Williams Sonoma. It is packaged in a nice, sturdy box and even has a dust bag for storage. My only complaint would be there seems to be a slight smell from the stain on the wood....like maybe because the board is wrapped in plastic, it is holding the smell of the stain in. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this purchase and I would recommend this item as a gift or for yourself!

It was a gift for my dear friends, and they are extremely happy with the board. I choose to personalize it and honestly look amazing. Material is sturdy and true to color. Comes with velvet bag and look just like the picture. Great purchase and great gift!

The package arrived timely and well packaged. Once I got past the outer box, the board itself was encased in its own cardboard packaging. After getting through the second packaging, the sealed box containing the board was inside. Opened that box up and was so impressed with the real packaging of the board. I opened the very sturdy branded (Shanik) and the board was encased in a classy cloth bag with draw strings, again marked with their branding of Shanik. When I got to the board itself, I was blown away with the beautiful Acacia wood. I didn't want to break through the sealed packaging of the board as it is a gift, but was VERY impressed with this product. HIGHLY recommended. This is an impressive looking board setup.

I'm so disappointed at this product quality. The finishing isn't good. It has lots of details. I am not recommending this product at all. I'm glad I opened it before giving it as a house warming gift. Wish I could returning and get a refund. A $100 cheese board that looks like this? Not happy at all.

I purchased this acacia board as a wedding present for a couple's second marriage, a couple that already have everything so I needed to get more creative with the gift giving. I checked several "cheese boards" and this one seemed the most versatile so I picked it for the gift. It came in a nice sturdy box for gift giving and then inside there is an extra cloth like bag for storing when not in use. The board has ample display and cutting surface with a black / white reversible marble insert in the middle. Nice! There are also 2 trays that come from the sides and that store underneath. They have small white porcelain dishes on each for extra goodies and a set of 4 cheese and meat knives. The item description said these side trays attach magnetically. This is true but only while stored all the way in under the board. Once they get pulled out, they actually separate from the main board so you don't get one piece unit but 3 pieces. It's just a little misleading but the good news is that the side boards can be used together and next to the main board or separate. Everything stores back up together and it can be carried as a tray by holding it by its sides which have some handle like grooves. I ended presenting the board taken out of its container. I filled it with cheese, salami, crackers, olives, fruits, chutneys, chocolates, etc. I added a white porcelain ramekin to hold a creamy spread / dip. I also included a bottle of champagne, a pretty candle and 2 goblets. Everything fit on the main board and then I gathered everything together in a large clear cellophane basket bag with a bow on top. I wished the company also offered other matching small ramekins, dishes, bowls or cocktail plates to compliment this great board and make it even more a one stop entertainment piece. Great board, a must for any cocktail party host! Highly recommended!!!
