This is a beautiful wood addition to any kitchen. I ordered this as a housewarming gift for my newly married niece and her husband who are going to be moving into their first home together soon. She is leaning towards less plastics and more wood/glass for her kitchen accents and storage - this charcuterie board set really fits the bill!I will recommend that this be used for a small group setting. The board is nice sized, but it will not be sufficient to stack foods for a large party. The ceramic dishes will be best used for dips/sauces or maybe small piece dry nuts; they are not quite deep enough for fruit/dried fruit cuts.Regarding the swing-out portion of the tray, I would not open it and then load it with foods while in the open position, but that is just my preference. The fact that it swings out to provide storage for platter-specific utensils while they are not in use is good enough for me. I would not use the area as an extra space to place foods.Quite frankly, the colors and patters on this platter make it suitable for food usage or decorative usage (or both). It's going to be a lovely addition to a new kitchen. I'm very pleased with it.

The listing claims this wood has no paint or wax, and the texture says this is indeed true. Meanwhile, the sanding is done extremely well. No rough spots or splinters or places to harm a surface or your hands.✅All Inclusive Entertainment: This set includes so much. Well made segments for serving different types of snacks. Ceramic holders (three in all, that accommodate anything not requiring a deep vessel). Also 4 knives for cheese spreads or soft meats.✅Very spacious. Lots of real estate for placing a sundry munchies, such as nuts, cheeses and spreads, fruits, even chocolates.✅Outstanding details, indeed. I couldn't wait to get this and try it out, and was planning to buy a couple more for friends. It arrived two hours before kickoff, and I have a bunch of fruits and salty things I was planning to use on it. The quality and heft to the wood and the tools is actually better than I expected.However, the product pictures are a bit deceiving on the useable space. The ceramic bowls are about 3/4in deep. While they did hold a little bit more than I expected, I'd say the bowls are better used for dips and spreads, or like in the product pictures nuts and other smalls. The cookie/cracker row insert is less than 1/2in deep. (And in case you couldn't tell - that's peanut butter and sliced apples in my picture in that row.)The part that swings out is somewhat sturdy, but does NOT come off (that I have figured out yet) for cleaning.Otherwise, it's a pretty decent product at that price point and I may still buy additional as gifts.

I got this board for a small Thanksgiving Day get together, and it was the perfect size. Not too small, not too large. The quality of this board amazing, very beautiful wood and nice sharp tools. Id wanted this board for a while and very glad I purchased, highly recommend!
