This is the color licorice! I absolutely love how they turned out. Only problem is I have no clue how to seal it. I bought a sealer for chalk paint in matte, but it didn’t look right one one of my pieces. Other than that I love the chalk paint. It looks so sharp on these pieces. & very very easy to apply. Very little prep needed!

This is a very nice paint and is a beautiful color when dried. Unfortunately, it took a lot to cover a white cabinet. It took three cans to give the desired coverage.

I am in love with chalk paint due to the aged look it produces and I purchased white and black chalk paint from other brand to paint 2 dressers, further mixing it to achieve the degrade grey: that paint was thick like marmelade, achieved great coverage in one coat (for black; white needed 3 layers) besides getting 1 litre for under 20 USD.This Shabby chic paint by contrast is simply terrible. I purchased white, black, silver and gold, each for just under 20 USD for 250ml - terrible value for money. Not only that:- the paint is like water (shake the can to hear how water thin it is if you are going to buy it)- the paint is at the bottom of the tin and even when shaking the tin many times, the paint was still very thin- this paint smells stronger than other brands of chalk paint I used.- I tried to use the silver paint to paint the lines on this dresser and I had to apply it so many times due to being so waterish; on black it looks a bit better but on the white side of the dresser if just terrible. The silver paint leaves some streaks and lines and when removing the tape to achieve the straight lines, some of the paint was taken with the tape. This never happened with other chalk paint brands. Reading the huge percentage of positive reviews, I conclude the Shabby Chic factory standards dropped.Thankfully the Amazon customer service was amazing due to our Prime membership.

Really beautiful finish but goes on very streaky. You have to apply in one direction without overlap and very evenly to prevent it from being quite streaky. (unless you want that look.) Also, even to use this on a wall, I had to use 3 coats. I used also to paint built in closet cabinets/shelves (with laminated finish) without sanding first and it stuck really well but again, had to use many coats and be very careful to not streak. Using a painting sponge was very helpful but also left streaks at the edges if not very careful. Has a very satiny metallic finish which is quite pretty and required no polyacrylic or other protective finish. Be careful however, as this paint is very very thin and can easily drip and make a mess. Will rinse out of brushes but takes more effort than regular paint and sticks to skin to. Grape pink color is GORGEOUS and metallic grey is nice (silvery) as well. Went a surprisingly long way considering how many coats needed.

Loved this product. The picture makes it look very dark. It is fairly dark and does have a bluish tint to it (which I love btw). I got an old bedside table from daughters room which was no longer needed and as we are in process of redecorating our living room numerous shades of grey, and don't want to spend a fortune for all new furniture thought would have a go at upcycling. Was always put off in the past as having the attention span of a gnat thought I would never be able to see through sanding, painting and then waxing. Having read loads of reviews on Amazon though I bought the paint and when it arrived just started straight away no priming. Took a couple of coats, goes on like a dream and dries really quickly. My husband was out at the time I did this and he was so impressed he's going to allow me help paint the walls. I first bought the tin of 250 mls which painted bedside table and a first coat of the bookcase and shelves. Ordered the litre tin for a tv unit and future upcycles. I would definitely use this product again and also will be buying different colours for other furniture. Cant' wait to get stuck into other bits.

Che dire non sono un'esperta ma ho tinteggiato un mobile e devo dire che ' e' fantastica ,molto coprente non puzza e puo' essere utilizzata anche dai meno esperti .A differenza di molti che hanno avuto problemi con l'imballaggio a me e' arrivata perfetta il tappo bloccato con 4 graffette .devo dire ottimo acquisto .lo consiglio a chi deve fare piccoli lavori ma anche lavori piu grandi perche 'la resa e' ottima.
