This guide is so much easier to use than the Juki hemming coverstitch guide. This guide will also fit the Juki coverstitch machine MCS1500. However the SCREWS THAT COME WITH THE GUIDE DOES NOT FIT THE JUKI'S SCREW HOLES. You need 3mm x 6mm screws. I ordered from amazon M3 x 6mm thumbscrews I SUBMITTED THE WRONG PICTURE WIT MY EARLIER REVIEW.

I have been looking for the fabric guide attachment to a Baby Lock Evolution serger for some time, so I was glad to find this after market version. It came in a nice box with the fabric guide attachment and screws in separate zip lock bags, along with instructions printed by Baby Lock. The attachment fits nicely and it works just as described up to a 1-1/4" hem. For wider hems, the opening for the screws is not long enough to reach the marked 1-5/8" and more. If the guide is pushed all the way over with just 1 screw holding it in place, you can accomplish a 1-5/8" hem. But the purpose of 2 screws is to ensure the fabric guide is stable, so with just one screw holding it in place, the fabric guide can shift. This fabric guide makes chain stitch hemming so much easier so I will still give it 5 stars, but I would like the manufacturer to consider making the screw opening longer.
