If septic tanks and cesspools are not properly maintained they will fill up with solids, they will clog the soil absorption areas, they will contaminate the soil, and they will become health hazards and burdensome expense. Apply CCLS at least monthly in the home to maintain bacterial balance in the septic tank or cesspool. Older, overtaxed, or neglected systems may require a shock dosage to create high bacteria level.
DIRECTIONS: Shake well before using.
FOR SEPTIC TANKS & CESSPOOLS: Pour down any drain in the house 1/2 cups monthly for each person using the system. Older or overtaxed systems may require more.
FOR DRAINS & PIPES: To clean lines and avoid build-ups, pour 4 oz. CCLS down each other drain weekly. Flush with warm water.
SAFE FOR GARBAGE DISPOSALS: Pour 2 oz. CCLS in disposal weekly to avoid build-up and control odor.
FOR ODOR CONTROL: Dab or spray CCLS on affected area as needed.

We follow our septic tank company's instructions for regular use of this product, which they originally recommended. So far, no septic tank problems after over 15 years at this house. We do get periodic servicing to empty the septic tank, but there have not been any backup or emergency issues with it. So overall, I'd recommend this enzyme product for any homeowner with a septic tank.

We have been using this septic tank treatment for years now, but this was maybe second time we bought it from Amazon as all the other times we use to buy it from our local septic tank maintenance guy. The price was much better on Amazon, we do the treatment once a month so it lats a while and it definitely does what it suppose to do- as we do not have any septic tank issues.Highly recommend this if you have your own septic tank at home

Product might be good if you know how to use it ... this product comes in 1 gallon bottle without any OEM label identifying and describing the product, and no USAGE DIRECTIONS. Just a bottle of the blue liquid that could be anything, colored water, that is being sold for $80 CAD.There are no USAGE DIRECTIONS on the bottle nor in the product listing here on AZ site.It is illogical and potentially illegal given the nature and purpose of this product.

This treatment is great. I use it in the drains once a week, but the way it is shipped is terrible. Amazon did not secure it in the box so it rolled around and leaked all over the refrigerator filter that was shipped with it. Would be better if it was not shipped with other items.

I bought a house built in 1974 with a long neglected septic and drain field. Since it was a single older person living here when I bought it the field looked fine and passed inspection. Once the family moved in I quickly noticed the field would hold a large amount of water and the overflow pipe would flow during heavy water use.I brought a septic guy out to talk about a treatment plant and he recommended I move all grey water to a separate system and use it to water plants while using this in the septic. Said to pour an entire bottle every month for 6 months and then every other for a year. Im half way through the year portion and I have to say this appears to work. After the 6 month run my septic field is bone dry all the time. Overflow pipe will have water in it during sustained heavy periods of rain but it never overflows and quickly goes down. All in all I’d say this works but I won’t know 100% how well until I move the grey water back to the main system next year. Until then I’m going back to a bottle a month.
