This is a nice small window unit. We snagged it as a back up for when our central air stops working (which does happen from time to time). We're in southwest Florida and even a short duration without it can become miserable quickly. This small air conditioner will easily take care of a bedroom during those times to get us through until an AC tech can arrive. I temporarily installed it and for the few hours I ran it, cooled quite well. Better than I imagined. I used a little painter's tape to seal better around the install kit. If I was going to use it long term I would probably just pick up something more substantial. My laser thermometer was reading high 50s inside the unit and the air temp in the room was low 70s with the AC set at 62 (the lowest setting). I had it in the living room which is open to the family room, kitchen, and dining areas. It was cooling a large area and the central air didn't run much while it was on. One thing that did bother me was the packaging. The unit itself took some damage prior to arrival. The exterior of the box was fine. It is the way it was packaged in the box. The styrofoam smashed some of the fins on the backside. I included a pic. It works fine, but I would obviously of preferred this not to have happened. It's also not very efficient with a CEER rating of only 11. That just means it will be using more electricity than other higher efficiency units. Not a big deal for my temporary use, but that might matter to someone that is planning on using it regularly. All in all it's a nice little unit that's light, easy to install, and cools better than I thought possible for its size.

This window unit air conditioner packs some surprising punch for its size, but I don't think I'd want to use it for more than a single bed room with the door closed for maximum effectiveness. As with most windowshakers, it's noisy, but you definitely get used to it, not overly so though.Controls are pretty straight forward for an AC, temp settings, fan speeds, etc., includes a remote. The real question with these though is how long does it last. In my experience these 'modern' units with the lower effectiveness coolants tend to lose almost half their power after their first year in use, so I'll have to try and remember to come back and update on that. If it craps out on me I'll definitely remember to update, but it's also ending the hot part of the year where the AC is necessary so it's going to be awhile.

This Senville air conditioner is a lifesaver! It's been a hot summer and our main RV AC went out. This little unit has kept our living space cool and comfortable. It's easy to install and use, and it's surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable way to stay cool. Our last window ac didn't have a remote and it's funny how much of a difference that can make. The sensing feature that allows us to place the remote in the furthest part of the room to ensure it gets to temp is a must have.

I decided to get this air conditioner for my garage since I spend a lot of time in there and it gets too hot during the day . This brought the temperature right down, and the thermometer is accurate. The unit was easy to install and the window adjustments made things easy. Overall I'm happy with how cool things are now and how quiet this air conditioner runs. After turning this unit on for the first time, the room quickly dropped from 84 degrees down to 68 degrees according to my sensors. I had the unit set to 69 degrees so this lines up within 1 degree perfectly. The economy setting keeps things quiet and cool, so I don't feel the need to take it off economy for the small space I'm using it in. It's a small unit so it fits easy into the window space.

We got this unit for a spare bedroom in our home in Florida to use with a generator in case, of a power outage. The size and BTU is perfect for that purpose.Upon receiving the unit and reading the installation manual, it requires the unit to be permanently screwed in to our vinyl window frame. Since the unit will only be used as a temporary basis and will be supported as needed when needed, we did our testing on the kitchen counter. The packaging is designed to house the unit when not in use, which is well thought out idea. The remote control is a great feature. The unit was quick to get running and should be very easy to install. Do to the fact that we used it indoors, without letting the hot air to escape, we did not do a true cooling test of the unit. So instead we will go by "How did it feel?" Sitting 15 feet away from the unit, doing other tasks, I could easily feel the cool air reaching me. Even though my home AC was still running. It was definitely noticeable when we turned it off, the cooler air was gone. While running, the air behind the unit was getting much hotter, which means it was doing it job. To transfer the hot air outside. While running on high, the unit was using about 630 watts on my watt meter. It is a great unit and priced well. The only downside, is that it is a little loud. Which might not be good for use in a small office.
