I have used a lot of face shields in my work career. This face shield is lightweight, and works really well. Great value for the $16 or $17 I paid for it. If you want a more comfy shield you will have to pay more. I like this one. It does have a hard plastic “fit” but I’m satisfied.

OK, first, if you are ordering this for protection when you are protesting, I really don't think I can recommend it. There is no protection for the head, just the face, and the screen seems unlikely to stop a projectile. There are other choices that might be better. For COVID protection it seems pretty good when worn with a mask. Good visibility. May protect you from droplets around the eyes (note that I am not a doc and this is not medical advice.)But, for working around the house, this thing is great. I had to replace recessed lighting fixtures and cut larger holes in the sheetrock ceiling. Tried it with safety glasses, and got a ton of sheetrock dust in my eyes, face, etc. (Was wearing an N95 mask leftover from last wallboard project, so not in my lungs.) So I ordered this face shield, and it worked so much better. I can wear my regular glasses, meaning I can actually see what I am doing. I can flip it up and down as needed. Great protection from flying wallboard bits.I ended up using it when cutting floor tiles, using a nail gun to install trim, etc. It's going to replace safety glasses for all my projects.

I use this protect when i use my gas trimmer. This shield is way better than using protective glasses and I found glass fog up. The face shield works great.

You will need to wear a hat under the shield otherwise it hurts when wearing the shield. The shield comes with a blue plastic film to protect the shield from getting scratched. This will help to protect you from the virus. Especially when so many people refuse to wear a mask. You can add additional protection by covering the areas where the virus can come in around your shield/mask as seen in some hospitals. It is important to note that the shield itself does not protect you from getting the virus it only keeps you from spreading it if you have the virus. To effectively protect you from the virus everyone else has to be wearing a mask as well. The shield will help protect your eyes and from any water droplets that hit your shield. It also reminds you not to touch your face and thus contaminate your mask.People that refuse to wear a mask are dangerous to be around as they can be asymptomatic and can be spreading the virus unknowingly. Keeping 6-feet is not enough because of the water droplets that can linger in the air up to 3 or more hours.Face masks help to reduce the number of water droplets that linger in the air and it is unknown as to the number of water droplets you can inhale before you sick from Covid-19.

Firstly, face shields are better than cloth masks, but shields were reserved for First Responders PPE and rightly so. A couple of weeks ago I saw that the general public could now purchase Selstrom's face protection. It is a good product - if you put it together correctly. The plastic shield has a protective bluish covering you have to remove but it's hard to get started. I started at the attaching holes and finally got it removed. The shield attaches easily - if you start with the correct end. Start with the largest slot first - after you've slid the end under the blue headpiece. The holes diminish in size as you work around the front of the headgear. Then slide the final end under the blue headpiece and you're done. It is lightweight, comfortable, not as constraining as a mask, but in some situations use both. The only negative is that Selstrom does not include instructions to assemble. It took me a while to figure out, but once I did it was easy to assemble and works great. Stay safe people. EDIT: Looks like pictures did not stay in the order I uploaded them. I don't think I can change the order so I hope you can figure the sequence yourself.

The product is excellent. It's fairly light-weight, comfortable and easy to see out of. The face shield is large, so I feel well protected behind it. Overall, I'm very happy with it.However, it really, really needs assembly instructions. First, the shield is hard to put on the headpiece. What you need to do is move from the longer holes in the shield toward the smaller one, sliding each in turn so that the next hole lines up. I noticed a lot of people saying that the holes don't line up. They don't. You need to make them line up by putting the holes on the tabs one at a time. Also, the shield has a thin, translucent blue plastic film that needs to be removed. It's not at all obvious how to take it off, so you need to pick at the film at the corner. When it first arrived, I thought it was just low quality, but there's actually a piece of plastic film stuck to it.Boy, does this product need instructions. I noticed several people saying they were going to return it because of the above problems. Once assembled though, it is excellent.

I'm a delivery driver for produce and need to wear a mask or shield. I can't get enough air in a mask and the shield work provided was inappropriate for working. This stays on my head. Need some anti fog tho. Also a little pricey but I wanted it quick

With the pandemic, all faceshield's price skyrocketed, this one remains a good ratio of a good product that doesn't cost an arm, not the ultimate faceshield on the market but a good one for the price. The downside about this product is the confort as it is not very foamy on the forehead, tough for a quick job that doesn't really matter.

So I got this sheild to work in the COVID unit with while I am at work. First off... While slightly confusing to put the plastic sheild piece on, it DOES go on if you put it the right direction. I see alot of people complaining about the holes but it just slides over in place. The sheild held up for a while. However the plastic sheild where the holes are at have broken already. (I've only had it for about 5 months). The main problem with this mask is that the sheild itself isn't shaped to the headpiece. So the corners kind of stay straight and stick out. I even taped them in place but eventually they would pull out. Now it is broken. Yes I know I can buy another clear plastic and replace it however I really don't feel like paying to replace it every 6 months when I can just purchase another brand that won't do that to me.Overall like I said it offered good protection for a while. It's not a fantastic sheild but im sure it isn't the worst either

I purchased this product because I wear glasses, but also need a Shade 5 lens for oxy-fuel welding and cutting. My glasses have rather wide frames and most Shade 5 safety glasses will not fit over them. I had purchased a pair of goggles, but they proved uncomfortable and prone to fogging up and obscuring my view, something you definitely don't want when handling a 6,000 degree flame and trying to do precision work. This face shield has proved to be ideal for the job I need it to do, and be well suited for plasma arc cutting as well. I barely notice the weight and it flips up and down easily while staying out of my way when I need it to. It allows plenty of ventilation to my face and also shields my face from sparks. The only issue I had with the shield so far, was that the shield was difficult to install and I doubt it would come off easily if I wanted to change it out for a clear one.
