Purchased to replace the name brand bit wrap that recently went out of business. This is much thinner than the latex rubbery type stuff. And I was confused at first about how to apply it. Horses notice the difference I don't think they like it as much as the old stuff. But this is a good replacement. Just a much thinner material that can be stretched and tightened better.

Bit wrap is a handy product to have around the barn. If you have a horse that has sensitive teeth or mouth, wrapping the bit can greatly help. Also, if you have metal or soft-mouth plastic bits that get a bit chewed up and sharp, you can wrap them with this bit tape to get more life out of your bit.This is a pack of 2 rolls, 1" in width and just under 40" in length. I like the 1" width so I have more flexibility in how I wrap my bits. The wrap is silicone that self-adheres when stretched. Make sure you stretch the wrap well when applying, and squeeze tightly with your hand when done to get the end well sealed.
