I used this product on my 7-year-old king German Sheppard. It works better than the prescribed med. He started having seizures around 2 years ago. First, I used what the vet prescribed but it made my dog ill and disoriented and still had the seizures every other day. I found this and started using it over a year now. He only had 2 seizures in the past year and very shorts ones. Now for the bad. Is out of stock and my auto delivery is now 10 days late.

I got this for my cat who started to have seizures. He wasn't on medication as the seizures where only once to twice a month and vet wouldn't put him on mediation unless it got more frequent. So I decided to add this to his diet to maybe help make them even less frequent. Day 2 of feeding him this and my poor cat was having seizures every day. brought him to the vet and had to say good bye to him because his seizure progressed to every 20 minutes. I wish I never got this junk.

We had to put our German Shepherd to sleep and want everyone to know our experience. Ryder had his first grand mal seizure on 9-11-23. It lasted one minute with a 2-3 minute break and then a second seizure also lasting one minute or less. We had him start Seizure Guard 3 days later and Spirulina soon after. His seizures were coming every 6-8 days and they were always the same (one minute in length and then a second one a few minutes later). The longest period of time between seizures up to this point was 13 days.On November 19th we started Ryder on Keppra and stopped giving him Seizure Guard. The seizures continued every 6 days or so. On December 12th we added a low does of Phenobarbitol with the Keppra. Ryder went 15 days without a seizure. We brought his Keppra up to 2 pills (twice) a day. Only 4 days passed when he had another seizure. After increasing his Phenobarbitol he went 30 days without having a seizure, but when it happened it was much much worse! Ryder had 7 seizures before we could finally get him to the E.R. We brought him home and 2 days later he had 7 more seizures and was admitted to the E.R overnight. The only thing different in his routine was that we increased the drugs! After doing an MRI and consultation with the Neurologist (no abnormalities detected in his brain) we increased the Phenobarbitol and Keppra to a higher level. Again we went 31 days when he started seizing again. It started at 7:15 pm and we couldn't get him to stop. By the time we got him to the E.R his body temperature was 109 degrees and most likely his insides were destroyed. We had to put our 2 year old German Shepherd to sleep. I'm fighting back the tears as I write this but I'm hoping that maybe someone reads this and it helps them with the decisions they have to make. I am convinced that Ryder would have continued to experience seizures if we hadn't put him on the phenobarbitol and keppra but it would have stayed at around one episode every 6-8 days and only lasting a minute. The drugs we gave him almost seemed to act as a dam, blocking the seizures for a longer period of time but making them much worse when they did occur. One last thing to think about is I wished we would have done more investigation before allowing our vet to give our dog the Simperica trio vaccine. They are now warning people on their commercials about the connection between that type of drug and seizures in dogs and cats. We will never know if that caused him to start having seizures or if it was something else. I hope this info helps someone. Thanks, Greg

This has to be the best product out there and that actually works for my cat. She has CH (wobbly cat syndrome) and started with seizures at 14 months. We started phenobarbital but she still had breakthrough seizures a few times a week. We used Naturevet quiet moments oil which helped but still had seizures and she hated the taste. A week before bloodwork to check her phenobarbital levels, I started her on this and absolutely ZERO seizures in the last three weeks. Her blood work showed she was slightly below phenobarbital therapeutic levels but we did not increase it (it’s hard on the liver) and just kept her on this with her reg phenobarbital dose. I give her 1/2 scoop am and pm mixed in wet food with some water. We call it her “seasoning.” I tried a full scoop with one meal and I think it was a bit much. She seemed like she was “tweaking” a bit. Lol I reduced it to 1/2 scoop x2 daily and it was fine.I HIGHLY recommend to anyone with a cat with CH and/or seizures.

Ok. So my bulldog has seizures and is on KEPPRA but was recommended to use this on him to calm him down because he is super active and man, he sees people and starts jumping on them all happy (doesn't bite) but he is kind of annoying and we have noticed he gets his seizure when is is super active. Well, when we know we're getting a family visit or anyone is visiting us we give him a small amount of this with peanut butter and man it works amazing. Calma him down, still goes and says hi and his tail is all happy to see people but he doesn't act all crazy and he's fine. I just love this stuff. Don't abuse of the amount just a little bit (not even half of the spoon inside of it) works.

My cat Molly is 2 years old and started having seizures around Christmas 2021. They were every day for about 2 weeks, and then they stopped. We took her to the vet and they couldn’t find anything wrong with her blood work and said they couldn’t do anything for her. Fast forward to the end of April, sure enough she started having seizures again. This time I immediately took to Amazon to see if there was anything that could help her, and I found Seizure Guardian. Ordered it and got it 2 days later, put a scoop of it in a treat, and *et voila* no seizure. I started giving it to her every day, and then accidentally missed a dose. The day I forgot to give it to her, she had another seizure. I made sure not to forget again, and she hasn’t had a seizure since! I went back to the vet and brought the Seizure Guardian with me and told her everything that happened. She looked over all the ingredients and approved using it! She said it was better to take a holistic approach that works before turning to medication. It really works for my kitty and I am SO glad I found this stuff.
