Instructions on bottle unclear. However, my dog does respond to this solution. It is messy and dripping so it is necessary to hold a napking under the dropper. Very expensive for an antiquated delivery of product to animal.

My 14 yr old dog likes the taste, thus makes it easy to use. It has minimised his goose like honking. Expensive but worth it.

My dog has problems with backward sneezes but his vet never offered any help on what to do to help my dog when he would get these daily attacks. I did some research and I bought “” throat gold”” and it has totally ended these attacks when they happen. I showed the bottle to my dogs vet and she had no input about it which seemed strange to me ? She basically had never heard of “” throat gold ?”” I like it because it’s a natural supplement and it greatly helps my dog. I’d rather give him this than toxic drugs with side effects ! So far throat gold has been great and it stops the backward sneezing episodes before they get out of hand ! It’s a great product !

Bottle came busted and is therefore unusable. It still has the plastic on it so I know it wasn't done during shipping and was instead shipped out like that. Not going to give my dog something that has been busted and possibly contaminated. Sucks because it was $50 and is NON-REFUNDABLE. My dog has been using this product for years, it works great! But I will NEVER order it from Amazon again...I'll stick to Chewy because they don't suck and send out busted/broken/contaminated products.UPDATED REVIEW from 1 to 5 stars on 4/5/24 - PetWellbeing Inc has reached out and provided a full refund for the product, even though refunds are not notated on the amazon website. They stick by their product quality and have amazing customer service. I already ordered a replacement bottle from Chewy but I will give them another shot the next time I order due to them taking action and issuing a refund without me even having to ask. Thanks PetWellbeing Inc! It does not go unnoticed.

I have a rescue dog who recently moved with me from Portugal to the UK. About a year ago he started snorting a lot and coughing and the vet there checked him over and always said it was an allergy - until a week before we moved to the UK, when she said she thought it was a throat issue and he should have a laryngoscopy at a cost of 400 euros, but no one was available until after we moved. Grrr.It got worse once we moved here, so I took him to a vet here in the UK, who gave him some antibiotics and said the next step would be laryngoscopy and MRI scan at a cost of £7000!! Eek! I can't afford that and my insurance won't pay out as it's a pre-existing issue (and has a limit of £1000 anyway). Apart from the snorting noises my dog seems perfectly fine no lack of oxygen, happy, eating and drinking and playing etc.i didn't know what to do. I did a lot of reading and decided that there was a chance it was tracheal collapse as there's a big likelihood my dog may have been chained up as a pup, causing damage. Anyway, I came across an article about Throat Gold and decided I might as well give it a go, I had nothing to lose.There was no change for the first two or three weeks and then suddenly my son commented on how much quieter our dog was in the evenings. We'd got used to the constant snorting coming from his bed but now there was silence. And since then he has been so so much better. I wouldn't say whatever the problem is has gone away, because he still has days when his breathing is noisy or rasping or he gags a little, but generally he's much quieter and also seems much happier - it wasn't until he improved that we realised he was no longer sniffing things, but now he's like a bloodhound!So I don't know, I haven't tried anything else so it can only be this stuff that has made a difference and I'm so pleased. Yes it's expensive but cheaper than the exploratory tests, and I've just ordered a second bottle.

I got this for my 11 year old miniature pinscher who suffers from collapsing trachea. She was diagnosed 3 years ago and we’ve been treating her with hydrocodone and a couple rounds of steroids which had been helping her up until last year when she started having bad episodes more frequently. Three months ago she had one very bad episode where she had to be treated with emergency medications such as oxygen, albuterol, sedation pills and injected steroids. She never bounced back from that episode and struggled so much that I was convinced I was going to put her down because I couldn’t stand watching her struggle to catch a good amount of air. She then developed a very bad cough that kept her up all night and also interfered with drinking and eating. She was pretty much coughing up all the water she was drinking. I took her to the vet and they gave her another round of steroids and we were told that if these didn’t work then there was nothing left to do. So I started doing research and I cane upon these drops. I was desperate to give my otherwise heathy dog a chance to keep living a healthy, comfortable life so I ordered them hoping and praying that they would help. The first night I gave them to her I noticed the “honking” sound got a little better and by the third day the cough was completely gone. I have been giving them to her for about two weeks now and she is COMPLETELY SILENT at night (she always got worse at night) and is able to eat and drink without coughing anything up. The phlegm sound is gone, the honking sound is gone and the cough is gone. If your pet is struggling with this horrible disease I beg you to please try this product, it might save your dogs life. I am still shocked that this product that I found on amazon of all places, has worked better than any other medication I have ever given her. I am forever thankful for this product and I wonder why vets never suggest giving it a try.

My small 12 year old dog Belle has had Kennel Cough for approximately 6 months on and off. I thought I would try Throat Gold to soothe her throat.She has been using Throat Gold for one week and her cough has almost gone, she seems more relaxed and happier.We didn't really expect such a quick improvement and are so glad we tried it.

My papillon dog, Sam, was having a breathing difficulty after back travelling from Orlando. He had nonstop honking cough, hard to breath, hard to sleep, then we brought him to the ER Vet nearby. After X-Ray, and place him into oxygen, they told us that Sam has a collapsing trachea problem and had to stay overnight. 12 hours later, they called us and said Sam will only last few hours to live. We went there and we insisted to meet Sam. When he saw us, then he started to stand up. My wife and kids were crying, and we insisted to take Sam back home. The ER doctor gave antibiotic cough medicine, acepromazine, and theophylline. These are bad medicine. These medicines will make your dog numb, nausea, confuse, etc. After I search online, and read the reviewers comments, I bought right away this medication, and stop this stupid ER doctor medication. I gave Sam 3x 0.5mL a day for first 5 days, then reduce to 2x0.5mL/ day and reduce to normal dose after that. Two medication that we still gave Sam from his primary smart Vet doctor, doxycycline, and prednisone, with this medication. After the first application of this medication, the honking cough was stopping. He is getting calm, and relaxing. Then, he is sleeping normally. After a few days, his tail is up and he can act normal again. THIS MEDICATION CAN SAVE YOUR DOG'S LIFE! I want to share this story, so you can save your dog's life. Don't believe 100% what ER Vet's said about your dog's destiny. Increase your dog's dose for several application until he is normal then reduce to normal dose. The ingredients of this medication will not harm your dog. I hope this review will save as many dogs as possible. BTW, this ER place will charge you in very expensive way as possible. We've spent $2,000 for less than one night.

When we received your Throat Gold tincture on June 19th, 2017, we had just about given up regarding the fate of our 18 year-old Lhasa Apso. For the past week prior to that date she had been "honking" in distress almost continuously - day and night. On June 17th, we had her examined by a good veterinarian who took an X-ray and diagnosed her illness as a collapsed trachea (windpipe). The doctor concluded that there was really no treatment and that we should be prepared for the worst. At that time it sounded like good advice. It goes without saying that my wife and I were considerably distressed and had no alternative other than seeking INTERNET help.That is when we found Throat Gold and we ordered it immediately via Amazon. The product arrived on the second day and we commenced our regimen of 7 drops twice a day on the evening of the 19th of June, 2017. During the first 10 days or so we saw no noticeable improvement and were slowly abandoning hope but then, suddenly, our Dixie had a good night. Then another good night and after that she improved rapidly to the point where she is now (two weeks later) almost symptom-free. Once or twice a day, when she gets excited about something, she will gag, honk, cough - whatever you call it - for a few moments but then she settles down and is quiet again - for the rest of the day and night.We are firmly convinced that our Dixie encountered a physical trauma at the dog grooming place where we have her clipped every 3 months or so. There she gets tied up at the neck - pulled high up - so that she is quite restrained from moving. That's considered standard practice. The last time that happened, she came home and immediately started to have her collapsed trachea problem. Needless to say that she will never go back there for any hair clipping.All this to say that now, after two weeks on Throat Gold, we consider that our Dixie has a new lease on life and we are convinced that she will make a decent recovery. Now, after two weeks of 14 drops per day in two feedings, we plan on cutting down on her regimen of 14 drops a day to 10 drops a day and we will probably reorder another bottle - for good measure.Thank you, Pet Wellbeing people, for an excellent product and honest advertising!
