I'm using these to make routing connections on a patch bay in my portable recording rig and they work well for that purpose. I tested each cable when I got them and all tested fine. I like the connectors because they can be opened up for inspection if there is a problem and the wiring needs to be resoldered. Since the patch cables going into the patch bay are constantly being plugged and unplugged it's important to me that they are repairable if needed. So far that has not been required. The cables seem well built and the varied colors makes it easy to keep track of what's plugged in where.

Ok the obvious advantage these cords have is the color. They make it easy to identify which cord goes where at a glance. Upon inspection I was pleased to see the ends all have removable housings and wires are secured after solder with shrink wrap making for a quick and easy repair vs throwing the cord away if it begins shorting out. They are also the perfect length for connecting inline devices that aren't right next to each other.

The cables are well made, and the solder connections are secure. The connectors may be unscrewed if re-soldering or replacing them becomes necessary. I much prefer this to the common trend of permanently-sealed plastic connectors, which I'm expected to throw away and re-purchase once they fail, apparently. The colors are bright and distinct from one another.

I do not review the stuff that works but these wires are truly something else. I like having different colors. I hope they last a long time to not worry about my wires, and they last a long time. 3 months sofar
