These are really well made stainless steel chips/can holders. I got them intending to recess them into a small roll around computer table I have to provide an out of the way place to throw flash drives and other small things when not using them to hold a can of soda.However, I ended up just unable to convince myself to cut into that lovely table top so I ended up going with some clamp on holders for the sides. I'm satisfied with my decision and plan on using these for my original intended purpose but on something like a workbench instead of a finely finished tabletop. I just couldn't do it! LOLDon't regret getting these at all and they're going to work great down the line. Very nice item. Recommended.

The product arrived well packaged as to prevent any damage to the cups. I sincerely doubt even if they were not any damage would have come to these. They are just that sturdy. It should be noted that these are not designed to replace the steel cups that typically come in manufacture furniture have a built-in plastic cup to that hold the metal cups, so the cups are typically a custom size in those.These hold drink cans perfectly thanks to the two-tiered bottom. Highly recommend these for the do-it-yourselfer table builder.

I got these to build a custom console in an old car I am building. One of the unique features is that it steps down to a smaller size on the bottom. This should allow you to secure a smaller diameter drink when needed without compromising the ability to take American sized drinks as well. Installation is as simple as cutting a hole the same size as the cupholder and putting it in. I would use a holesaw for this as it would be very difficult to do it using a jigsaw or other method. A thin piece of foam tape might be useful around the top to keep it secure so it does not rattle in a vehicle.

Turned this upside down, sprayed the outside with some oil, put it face down in the middle of a large plastic bowl I used as a mold for my concrete fire pit. Mixed the concrete, poured into the mold being careful to keep the stainless steel cup holder insert in the middle. Left this to cure and harden for 2 days - demolded from the plastic bowl and had to chisel out a little around the lip of this insert to remove it from the fire pit. Sanded around the space for the insert to make removal (for emptying and cleaning) easier.Placed the insert back into the fire pit, poured 70% alcohol into the insert once I had this on the backyard pool deck, and then put a flame to it. Because the opening is large, the flames were bigger and higher than on some of the smaller fire pits I’ve seen, and I like that. This fire pit will be kept on the pool deck, not in the middle of a table - it’s for evening ambiance rather than s’mores.Happy these come in sets of 2 so I can make another for the other side of the pool deck. I’ll be buying more of these, I’m sure.

I placed these on a workbench to keep my drink from spilling. I often find myself knocking my drink over or onto the floor while working on my workbench. This has so far prevented that, AND, if I am not using one or both for cups, it becomes a small parts/tool holder as well.

Got these to make a table for couch and big soft chairs. They are metal and seem sturdy. If that doesn’t work out I can use them in the garage because they’re metal and small but big enough to put things in. Either way happy with these.
