Double Majorette will produce a blend of Carnation like flowers, in shades of red, yellow, pink & even a dark mahogany. The blooms trail along erect stems, which measure a good 30 to 36 inches tall. Double Majorette is a more dwarf variety of Hollyhock, making it easier to place in the garden.

they grow, they flower on second year, beautiful flower, but they are not dwarf, they grow to 5 ft tall

These seeds took a long time to sprout. (inside on grow tables) However, once they sprouts were planted they grew into strong plants that produced many flowers. Really glad I bought these seeds. I now have a supply of seeds from my own plants for next year. Many single and double blooms. Really happy.

I have come to realize that Seed Needs is a very reliable company. I have had success, with seeds bought from them. You will find the the color selections are more than adequate and beautiful! Also, the seed size is always going to be fresh, and viable for the season. All in all, I consider these seeds a great value for my money!

I planted these in the spring and was so excited for my first year hollyhocks to have grown so much and start flowering. However, my plants have now grown to >6ft which is roughly 2x the expected height for this dwarf variety (30-36"). These plants, while beautiful, are obviously NOT the variety of seeds I bought (double majorette dwarf) and it's frustrating bc they're in a space that isn't big enough for such mammoth plants and will need to be relocated. Super disappointed.
