About this item

  • Vibrant Colors and Fragrance: The Panorama Bee Balm Mix offers a vibrant display of blooms in shades of pink, white & scarlet, each with a distinctive, minty fragrance that enriches garden spaces. These flowers are not only visually appealing but also attract a plethora of pollinators.
  • Gardening Versatility: Thriving in USDA zones 3 to 9, this perennial can be started indoors or sown directly outdoors, prefers full sun to part shade, and well-drained, moist soil. Its resistance to mildew makes it a reliable choice for gardens, where it grows up to 30 inches tall.
  • Culinary and Medicinal Uses: Beyond its ornamental value, the leaves and flowers of the Panorama Mix are edible, often used in teas or as a garnish, with historical uses in Native American medicine for its antiseptic properties, particularly thymol, which is found in its oil.
  • Attraction for Wildlife: This mix is particularly noted for drawing hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees, making it an ecological asset. Its long-lasting blooms not only provide nectar but also serve as a cut flower, bringing the garden's beauty inside.
  • Quality - All seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
  • Quantity - Seed Needs offers generous quantities. You can share with friends and family, or you can save the extra seeds until the following season, if properly stored.

The packet of Bee Balm - Panorama Blend arrived & all looks good so far. Gives clear directions & info on germinating & is marked as being best by 12/31/2025 (9 months out). It’s not growing season here yet, so can’t mention results yet...but if I run into any duds with this pack, I’ll be sure to update this review.

I love bee balm and especially love how many bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are attracted to it. This will be my first time growing it from seed, so can't speak to germination yet. But the packaged arrived in perfect condition, no seeds were crushed, and also appear clean. The seeds are tiny, but large enough to handle with care. The packaging itself is adorable -- I know it's not about the packaging, but it's fabulous regardless. Overall great value for this many Panorama bee balm seeds. Would recommend!

Received this pack of seeds, and I promptly put them down in a small turned up area where I usually plant annuals and wildflowers. We will see how well they bloom in a few weeks. The package was nicely printed, good information, does not look cheap. The cost may be a little high for most folks, but I don't know that I have seen these seeds around here in SE Texas before. Hopefully, the plants can take the heat. I will update my review when I have pics and some updates on growth, hardiness, etc. Overall, can't say they're bad, look good!

Seeds needs panorama blend of Bee Balm seeds, say they contain 300 seeds, I do not believe there are 300 seeds in this packet. I planted around 15 seeds and only 2 have sprouted. This is a perennial They enjoy full sun to partial shade. I will try to sow directly into the ground after the last frost and hope I get more that come up. But so far I have low seeds germination.

Well, it's the middle of February so I can't tell how the seeds will do this spring but there's a generous amount in the packet and I can't wait for planting season to arrive. I love planting flowers that attract bees and smell good too. I think the seeds will do well and will edit the review with flower pictures if I'm successful with the bee balm.

My husband has the proverbial green thumb. He loves all sorts of gardening – from landscaping, to vegetable, herb, and flower beds. He particularly likes to keep the pollinators and butterflies in mind when he’s planning his flower garden. Bee Balm is one of the best things to include, so when I handed him this package of the panorama blend, his eyes lit up. Although it’s still too cold to plant our gardens, I know these seeds will be some of the first to go into the ground. As far as I can tell, the seeds appear to be robust and intact (none are broken looking) and I expect they will germinate and produce quite well. There are 300 seeds in this package and the price is beyond reasonable. After comparing several online seed companies, this package of 300 Bee Balm seeds costs quite a bit less and there are a lot more seeds as well. I am very happy with this purchase.

I got these because the flowers are pretty, and also to attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. These critters will in turn do some pollinating for me, so everyone wins. Farming on a budget, I try to grow everything from seed. I planted just 3 seeds in my hydroponic garden and all 3 germinated on day 10-11. I’m also using a grow light 12 hours per day. The setup is indoors, with the temperature between 65 (night) and 68 (daytime). Since I’m using grow sponges, the seeds were exposed to light before germination; they don’t germinate unless they have some light.. You can’t argue with 100% germination – I would highly recommend these seeds.
