I bought a 300 pack last year and it was awesome so I went ahead and bought the 600 pack this year. It’s a good quality brand. I was happy with.

Ordered and received seeds in January but package says best by Dec 2024. I already opened the package so doubt that I can return. Just letting other customers know.

I planted 6 in seed starter (also from Amazon) watered, and put in sun and a couple of days later, all 6 were sticking their heads out! Super fast!! Been out in the rain on the deck so in a few days, I will replant them in the back of the yard. This is mid-July in Missouri so I hope they'll grow fast for the birds.

These guys grew incredibly well here in Las Vegas, zone 9a, where there is bountiful sunshine and warmth, mixed in with occasional high or gusty winds. I was initially concerned the winds combined with the heat would be too much for the plants to handle, but they’ve done very well and seem happy here. I made sure to plant them against a wall for some additional protection. We’ve had a crazy wet monsoon season this summer, so the extra moisture probably helped with vigorous growth. You can see from the before/after photos just how quickly these things grow. The before picture was taken July 14, which was 10 days after putting the seeds in the ground, and you can already see healthy growth. The after photo was taken today, Sept 5, so in total it’s been 63 days from when the seeds were first sown, and they’re already giants! Right now the only issue I’m having is with the flower heads —they’re beginning to get too heavy for the plant to support on its own so I’m gonna have to provide some additional support to keep them upright. One last thing I’ll add is that every single seed that I planted ended up germinating and I honestly wasn’t expecting all of them to sprout! I had to thin a bunch of them out but luckily I still have a TON of seeds leftover for planting… and I’m about to have many, many more here pretty soon.I’m definitely happy with this purchase. It’s already paid for itself, exceeded my expectations, and produced some truly beautiful sunflowers! These seeds are legit, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

There was only 125 seeds, i counted with my kiddo for her to get practice then recounted myself to make sure. They weren't too damaged though and some did sprout so they are viable seeds for planting. I ended up just going to sprouts for raw sunflower seeds and got a much better price and way more flowers grew. Wouldn't recommend buying this sort of thing online in the future.

Summer 2023 Well not all the plants we planted bloomed but what did are wonderful! The highest did have full direct sun for the longest period of time during the day. I do suggest having as much sunlight as possible with where you plant them.Once plated within 3 days these seeds began to sprout as you see from my picture. Great growth!Highly recommend! Excellent price for the amount of seeds received!I’m very impressed with these sunflower seeds. Every seed was in perfect condition as you can see from my picture. I attached a picture of the back of the packet for instructions. I can’t plant my seeds in the garden soil as chipmunks & squirrels eat them. I grow them in the CowPots & have always had great success. I’m potting them today so I’ll update my review on the progress. I had to count out the seeds for my potting purposes & there were many more than 300. I had 406 seeds in my packet! Well worth the $8.99 I paid. A reassuring piece is this company gives a 180 day guarantee if I’m not totally satisfied. A plus! From what I see right now I’ve found gem seeds & I’m glad I purchased this brand for my summer garden. I do recommend!
