The purchase was made for added enforcement for my front and back doors. I already have cameras that cover the entire outside and inside when I’m not home. I also have the owl motion sensors. Those were purchased when I lived in another state. I now live alone and have added these as well as door and glass break alarms. Those were added after my cameras sent an alert to my phone. There was a man dressed in black from head to toe outside my front door at 4am the morning after Christmas. I was home and only 12 foot from the door. I’m also armed and a qualified sharp shooter. I just have no intentions of being an unprepared victim and again.These are great. They don’t slip on my wood floors. Once put in place and the bottom lightly kicked forward I can’t open the door. They were also tested from the outside by a neighbor. He was not able to open either unlocked door. I highly recommend these. I know I will sleep better at night knowing if anyone tries to get in here they will make so much noise that I will be ready and waiting.

Pretty easy to put together, though the top handle piece did seem a bit flimsy but is staying hooked in. It works relatively well. It seems to be doing what it is supposed to as I unlocked the doors and it stayed pretty secure when trying to open it. Overall happy with this purchase, especially for the price. I’d give it more 4.5 stars.

We needed extra security for an exterior door. This bar was perfect. It was easy to set up and super sturdy. No one is getting through that door!

Easy to assemble and adjust. Lightweight. The rubber door hook and stopper feel like they could come off the bar so I used superglue to reinforce it. Great for the sliding door, though.

It is very well built. The parts are thick. It fits snug on the door knob making it impossible( for me at least) to turn. The bottom grip stays in place. If an intruder tries to enter, they will do so making noise which gives you time to react. I’ve placed a second one in my bedroom and third in my bathroom. It’s very easy to assemble. I got 4. But I’m going to get more for the other bedrooms and bathrooms. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
