The magnet is very strong and securely holds my glass door, even with an automatic spring. Since my door is aluminum and I couldn’t screw it in, I’m glad the adhesive tape provided is incredibly strong.However, I did struggle a bit with peeling off the white cover on the front side to stick it onto the other component.My biggest concern is the dangerously sharp, rounded edges—almost razor-like. I cut myself twice, even after being extra cautious the second time. While unscrewing the white part from the wall plate, I ended up with another deep cut. I highly recommend wearing gloves or handling it carefully to avoid injury. I had to use wound tape to stop the bleeding, so be extremely cautious!

Works as described, and the hold on the magnet is just right so far: strong enough to keep the door open, but not so strong to require more than a firm pull to release the door. This was a good solution for a door that opens against a large wardrobe, since I didn’t want to drill holes in the furniture.I used the adhesive to mount the doorstop parts. There were no instructions for the adhesive (only for the screws) so I pressed each part in place for 60 seconds, then let them cure for 24 hours before engaging the magnetic connection. So far, so good, but it’s been only a week.Overall very pleased but I docked a star for lack of instructions for the adhesive, and no info on adhesive removal (should that day come).

I have a few doors that we almost never close, and the cats love to steal the doorstop wedges. These look great and the very strong magnet holds the door quite well. Only change I made was the small part that goes on the door has an unnecessarily large chrome disc attached for no apparent reason. Took 3 seconds to drill the rivet holding that disk then applied just the small piece to the door and it looks much better. I bought one set to try, but I'll work my way around now replacing the rest in our house.

The device works as intended. I do not recommend relying on the adhesive tape; it will give way eventually, due to the strength of the magnets. . There were no instructions but I worked out that the each piece screwed apart, and screw homes were provided.If you have narrow skiting boards, you may experience an issue, as I did. Where the wall mount protrudes over the skirting when lining it up with the door component, making it difficult to attach. I circumvented this by cutting down the door component mount with tin snips, thereby lowering it, and enabling the wall component to be lowered commensurately.If you have a flat wall or wide skirtings, you won’t have an issue.The magnet is strong, and you won’t have any problems with the wind. If anything, the magnet is a little too strong, but I prefer that to ineffectiveness.

I have used these around my business, they stick great to certain surfaces but for whatever reason I have one door it will stick to for maybe 1 month and then breaks off, I can’t drill because it’s a meta door so I used a stick pad for all of mine. I have replaced it twice and cannot figure it out. BUT The other areas I’ve used these they have lasted over a year and are still doing great! Just really make sure you match it up the connectors otherwise you’re SOL cause they really do stick well (except to certain metal doors I guess!).I would recommend these. They have made life very easy!
