Sealed my quartzite and marble counters. It was straightforward and easy to do. No mess and it worked well. It does smell but what do you expect when you are sealing natural stone. It is a good price and after doing my kitchen and bathrooms, still have some left over. It worked well and I am hopeful it lasts the five years

We have a lot of granite and a pint was more than plenty. We had new granite, and we questioned the effort/quality of sealing. We used this and were thrilled with the results. Easy to apply and left a great shine. Recommend reading directions and using appropriate materials for application and removal.

Wish I had taken a before picture. This product made my slate bathroom wall tiles look like new. 25 years in place, and they were a little faded. I cleaned them with water and soap, and after drying overnight, I applied one layer of 511 sealer. I used one of those sponge pads on a dispenser, made for dish soap. Has a rough surface. I poured some 511 on it, and it spread very easily. The product doesn't dry so quick that you can't go over it to smooth out any lines. I covered the tiles that line my bathtub in just ten minutes or so. I used very little of the product. I let it soak into the grout, and it just covered and enhanced everything. Wiped a couple of drops off the bathtub with a kleenex. No muss, no fuss. The product dried completely in 48 hours. I had only learned about this product when researching it online and using Amazon reviews as some guidance. I'm impressed. Very easy to use and it looks great! 100% satisfied.

I was not sure about this product but was very pleasently surprised.I did not know if I would like the product and how much of it I would need. From the product description on the Amazon website says it can cover 62 - 1,000 square feet for a quart. The bottle itself does not indicate as much coverage and does say it depends on the type of surface.I had 400 square feet to cover and used it on slate floor in different rooms (that had never been sealed). I started with a quart and figured if I loved it would buy a second quart if needed.I ended up using 2 quarts (did 2 coats on most rooms) for a small area that is really high traffic I did 3 coats.Looks gorgeous, wish I had sealed it years ago! When water dropped on the kitchen floor it beaded and no longer went into the tile. The product is a water consistency, I was expecting it to be thicker. It rolls on very easily and fast.I was concerned about the smell with reviews that indicated it had a terrible harsh smell. I have allergies with chemical products and started with a heavy mask but was pleasently surprised that I did not need the mask and took it off. I do recommend that you have plenty of ventilation (have as many windows open as possible) and because of that it would be best to apply it either in the spring or early fall. I have a room left to do and will finish it in the fall.I read a lot of posts regarding what products to use to apply as well as what to use to wipe excess. Below is what I used for that.I used a few things with it (since it was for the cottage I did not spend much) - for applying I used a large roller for larger areas and a 1 1/2" paint brush (for tighter places (corners and against the wall) and a large roller tray to pour the product into it.Then for wiping excess I bought a flat mop refill from the dollar store (for $1.50) and wiped with that.I recommend that you wash the mop refill at the end of the day since it dries and wont work as well the next day (or just use a new one since it is cheap). The roller and paint brush I sealed in a plastic bag and was able to use the next day (I had put the mop refill in the same bag but it dried). The roller tray I did not bother to clean the next day just made sure all the product was used up and poured left over into the bottle.Even if it was not for my cottage I would not have used exensive things that they recommend you buy to roll as well as wipe. Even the roller, paint brush and paint tray I used ones I bought at the dollar store. On some sites 4 pads cost $25+ and the tray they recommend is $40 (which I read terrible reviews on that indicated the tray is small and flimsy and you have to be very careful with it). Lot easier to use a paint roller tray and paint roller (I also used a long painting extension which was great since after I did all the corners and edges I no longer had to be on my hands an knees to apply).Good luck, I really liked the product and hope that my suggestions will help you.

Buen producto para aplicar pero demasiado caro para darle mantenimiento a los granitos

I love how this product oversimplified the work, and advertises itself as a "one step" product, I just have to laugh at that one. If you've done any kind of tile work in your entire life you know this is a big fat hairy lie. LOL. Still...nice try whoever wrote up your product description.I resealed our two-person slate shower with this, which entailed me scrubbing all of my tiles on my hands and knees to make sure that they were clean, waiting a few days for it to dry, then applying this product, then wiping it off, waiting a day, then wiping this product on again, and wiping it off again. You know, a simple one-step process that took many hours of back-breaking work. LOL.I will have to say that this product provides a very slight sheen but not overly glossy which is exactly what my wife and I wanted. The nuances and coppery colors of the slate really pop out now and my wife says the shower has never looked more beautiful since we have owned it in 2008 (when I had simply used a well-known sealer back then).Applying this product I simply used a wide paint brush, and to wipe it off I use strips of an old white towel. This product definitely has a caustic smell to it, but it is not nearly as bad as different product that I have had some experience with 2 years ago. The OTHER product was horrendous and smelled like turpentine and old feet. This product did not have that "old feet" smell, but you are still going to want to use this in a well ventilated area as it is rather turpintine-like.I would definitely use this product again, and is all I would ever use in the future. The results are simply phenomenal.

So I recently built (am still building) a house which included a cement tile backsplash for the kitchen. It's such beautiful tile and I it, but sadly after it was installed the dark (truffle) grout had stained the beautiful porous tiles and it looked not nearly as beautiful as it should have. After doing some research I discovered that others had fixed this problem by first applying Lemi Shine Detergent Booster (you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/Lemi-Shine-Detergent-Booster-Ounce/dp/B00KOC6KEE) and following up with this product by Miracle Sealants.1 bottle of the Lemi Shine applied (with a large sponge) twice with vigorous and enthusiastic strength (and immediate rinsing of each area) removed all the nasty grout stains from my beautiful tile. As was to be expected though, this left the tile looking washed out, faded, and really dull. I allowed the tile to dry for a week, I'm not sure this was necessary, but the tile is porous and I wasn't taking any more chances.I then applied Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance Color & Gloss Enhancers. I applied two very thin coats of this, following the instructions provided and my tile gleams more beautifully now than when it was brand new on the display shelf. The colors are revived and brilliant! The design pops! It is not "shiny" at all. From a short distance it looks matte, and right up close it has a light satin finish, but from either vantage it looks amazing! I am so thrilled to have found this amazing product! It saved my kitchen design and my beautiful tile backsplash. I could not recommend this more highly!

Purchased this to enhance color of stone/rock fireplace facade. It brought out the color and veining of the rock the same way wetting it with water would make it look except without the shine. This is exactly what I had hoped for. Very happy with the results. I would have given this five stars except that it is very pricey. That being said, I chose to purchase from this vendor because they had the smaller size bottle, which is very hard to find, and at a better price than other vendors.

Great product, just used it on some exterior bush hammered tiles under a canopy.Surprised to see how little you need to cover a large area.Going to order more to re do some tiles inside the house.

This is a great product and if you've just paid for a new stone patio then this will only be a minor expense to really finish off the patio. It's give a new, wet look to our limestone patio. This product really does work and you won't be disappointed. I've used two coats so far but will put another one on just to really finish it off and last that bit longer but could leave it as two. Would recommend the applicator.
