I bought the 3/8" Mason drill bits to drill through my ceramic Kamado Grill dome to replace a worn out and inaccurate Temperature gauge . It was pretty easy to get the job done . Just a few adjustments with the cordless drill I was using and it went well . Even though the drill bit got hot , it kept going and went through the dome and I was able to install my new Temperature gauge . Yes , I would recommend these drill bits . Used bit still looking just like the one that wasn't used . Great value and I measured the bits . They are perfectly fine for drilling masonry jobs .

Had not used this brand before and was very happy with the overall quality and performance. Had to drill multiple holes and thought I would need two bits, but one did the job and has more life left. The carbide heads are very robust. Drilled about 100 holes through brick and concrete using a hammer drill and the bit chewed right through everything with no problem.

Drilled hold in concrete as claimed but the whole got large than intended. On inspection, found the the shank bent slightly, causing the bit to wobble and make the drilled hole larger than intended. I checked the other, longer bit and it was essentially true which leads me to surmise the the shorter bit got bent while doing its job. I do no know if it was softer matrial or may faulty drilling action that caused but the bit got bent. I guess care is needed while using it.

Bought this for the price, and found they worked well. Drilled in concrete for10 Red Heads to secure a 2"x12"x8' board. No problems

I bought this to drill a 1 inch hole through stucco, so i can run 1/2 inch pex for a water spigot. Obviously not heavy duty cement, but it worked well for this project.
