Hand pump will exhaust you before you get tank to 3k psi. i only went to 2k but that was enough to inspect my pool.

This scuba set works great. The included manual pump is a workout but definitely helps you get out there. All components, from valve to lines to mouth piece are very well made. Breathing is easy and overall simple to operate. Very portable as it is very compact and all fits into its carry bag. The 1L tanks give me plenty of time under.

I'm just getting into diving, so this kit is a great way for me to get started. I really like that it has a pump so I don't have to fill up the tank professionally. It does take a long time to do, but I'd prefer to spend 30 minutes pumping while watching a good show than spend $30 getting a canister filled.One nice thing I didn't realize when I ordered it is that it comes with a case for everything to go into, and even the pump collapses some to fit into it nicely. The kit also comes with a set of goggles. As I was reading the instructions (which honestly could be a bit more thorough) I noticed that the mouthpiece is compatible with certain types of snorkels, which is a really cool feature to let you do both snorkeling and diving interchangeably.The equipment itself seems really well made and all of the pieces fit together really cleanly.

I bought this 35 days before my vacation. Was so excited to use. When I got to the snorkel site, the tank will not hold air. 7 guys on the boat could not figure it out how to work it. So disappointed. When I got back, I could not return because I was 5 days past return date.

you have to make 1200 pump to fill tank and only for 7 min diving this is expansive toys

Bought this for a friend (not a gift). He is having big fun with it. It is perfect in that you don't have to return it to refill after each use. I carries enough for shallow water short dives, but much longer than without it.

Instructions were not very easy to understand and no specification as to how times you would have to pump the pump to fill the tank.
