Diving sticks like these have as many names as they have uses. This one features a comfortable ergonomic plastic handle. It is easy to grasp securely because of the size and partially rubberized grip. Exactly as pictured, the nylon wrist lanyard is encased in high-visibility slip-resistant silicone tubing. It is comfortable and doesn’t bite. A sliding cord lock secures the lanyard around the wrist.The robust aluminum stick is mounted very securely into the handle. It doesn’t wiggle a bit. Measurement markings are permanently engraved every inch and will not wear off. However, the etching is narrow and may be difficult to see. I strongly suspect that the tip’s high-vis orange paint will wear off with use but do not see this as a deal-breaker as most pointers don’t have this feature to begin with.The stick can be attached to a BC by the plastic snap clip on a 360-degree swivel. I don’t trust clips with plastic gates-- they are more susceptible to failure. I’ll be replacing this clip with a more trustworthy wire-gated carabiner or metal clip.This dive stick is more expensive than many other pointers, probably because of the very comfortable handle which sets it apart. If you anticipate needing to grasp a pointer for prolonged periods, this one is a very solid choice.

I am slowly but surely gathering my gear for lessons and my first trip to open water diving! The excitement is a challenge to hold in. This stick has a nice grip, good solid handle, and a safe tip. The good value is well worth the price. This will work well and will hold up for your dives. The size seems right for my medium old lady size. Happy diving!

Well made, and nice handle. Total length is about 15 inches. Weight is 3.5 oz or 100 g. This will be a nice addition to my scuba kit.

This is a lobster tickle stick for tickling lobsters out of their holes when you're diving. It's also small enough to put in your pocket, for stabbing people. It's made of stainless steel and has a lanyard with a silicone strap, and I would call the overall quality above average. 4 Stars.

This is great for scuba diving when you're going to be seeking out creatures that like to hide in holes. If you've ever gone looking for certain crustaceans or burrowing type fish you know the apprehension of sticking your fingers in holes and crevices not knowing what might be in there and now you can safely prod around without risking any bites or pinches. This rod is lightweight, very strong, nicely sized and multi functional. The bright colors ensure good visibility and it can be used for so many things for poking, prying, defense and a tank banger as well. I look forward to using this on my next dive and really like having it.
