I use these as secondary weight slide retention clips on my BC. If I’m worried that I may need to drop weights during a dive, I’ll y clip them in the water, but this will make sure you don’t lose weight slides going off a boat or platform or in close contact with surfaces underwater.

I love this strap, it makes my dives so much comfy. I can get in to the boat with all my scuba gear and tank, with my fins and mask strap on my chest, making it so easy.

A must for divers, makes carrying your fins and keeping them together a lot easier. Well made and worth the price.

When shore diving it was always awkward entering the water due to having to handle a dive flag, my fins and mask etc. Trying to balance on one leg while putting on fins was a real pain in the butt. With this keeper I simply clip my fins to my BCD when kitting up. With my BCD inflated I just walk out into the water until I'm floating. I then put on one fin at a time and proceed with my dive. I also clip them back onto my BC at the end of the dive to make exiting less cumbersome.

Loved these for our trip to Bonaire, where having your hands free while entering and exiting the water is pretty crucial. My only gripe is that the bolt snap is not made of stainless steel, so you will have some corrosion if you aren't on top of thoroughly rinsing and adding a silicon grease to the spring.

the metal part is quite sharp, not polished properly, and I got cut deeply when I'm trying to slide it open.

I bought this to help me keep my fins in order on a recent shore-diving trip to Bonaire with just my husband and myself. We are both in good shape, but I've had major knee surgery so I'm not as strong as I'd like to be and the waves, along with the sometimes rocky/slippery beaches in Bonaire, were difficult for me to navigate and I was turning to him more and more to help steady myself. To make entrance & exits easier on us both, I got this quick release loop and attached to a d-ring on my BCD. After some trial and error, I found that a d-ring on my left-side, chest-level was optimal, as it was easy for me to reach across with my dominant right hand, and it was up high enough that my fins didn't flop around and hit my legs too much in the water. There are two separate loops for each fin, staggered top and bottom to make access easier. My husband even asked me to carry his a few times so I was loaded with 4 fins and it was no problem - he'll be getting his own fin keeper this year. I'm glad I made this purchase.
