I bought this as a present for my Husband. The quality is amazing! Fairly heavy and made from beautiful materials. The size is perfect and the ink dries fairly quickly. I also got the pen engraved by the seller. Everything was spelled correctly and the whole pen and inks itself were a very great price!

This is my first ever fountain pen, and I have to say I’m very impressed so far! The appearance, functionality and quality of this pen is absolutely wonderful and the “Fine” sized Nib I selected writes beautifully, the ink flowing perfectly well and the nib gliding across the paper with ease! I am very pleased with my purchase and even more so with the wonderful custom service I received when my package arrived with both of the included ink cartridges completely empty/dried out, (apparently due to a potential temperature issue during transit to my home.) I would most definitely recommend this lovely fountain pen and will likely be back to try out more of their products! - Ashley S.(For those who’re curious, the Calligraphy was done by drawing the outline of the letters and then filling them in, not by applying pressure to the nib.)

The pen is beautiful but I keep having issues with it drying out, when I initially write, the ink takes awhile to come out, not sure why, it is so annoying, once it comes out, it writes perfect, I just wish I can figure out the initial ink dispensing.

Beautiful craftsmanship and feels really solid in your hand. Writes very smoothly and flawless. Customer service is superb and replies to questions pretty much immediately.A really great fountain pen which I am sure will last a lifetime. You get a 3 year warranty with it as well, which speaks highly of the seller who stands behind their products.Will be buying another one for my brother as he loves to journal and I am sure he will appreciate this fountain pen for its superb quality. Can't go wrong with this one.

À peine l'encre fut remplie, le stylo Scriveiner à plume Fine s'est employé à tracer de belles lettres sur le papier.Produit de grande qualité, dont le poids n'est pas dérangeant et qui fonctionne parfaitement depuis 2 semaines, quotidiennement.Le capuchon s'emboîte avec une légère résistance, qui s'assouplie au fil des utilisations.Très beau stylo. Je recommande.

Great pen, writes well, good ink control, good weight, groves in grip feel great, clip is sturdy and has lots of pressure. Ink converter screws in so it won’t fall out and is built sturdily. The cap clicks on tight and is very satisfying to use. Finish looks amazing and is very smooth so it won’t scratch like an enamel finish will since it’s stainless steel. Have had a few problems with ink flow but just slightly compressed the piston and began to write smoothly again. To give an idea I have had this pen for three weeks and have already written a lot with it (refilled it twice) and have only had to do this once on my second or third day using it to fix the flow.

Was very excited to get this fountain pen. Upon opening I was very impressed with the pen as far as quality, appearance and feel. I opened the insert to get the ink cartridge and bam…2 open villes ..one black one I would assume was blue. No caps on villes ..blue was dried empty and black had a tad bit in it that spilt into my hands. Quality control is crap. They should have received the kings award for biggest failure and disappointment.I will be returning this $120 mistake.Update .. Scriveiner London reached out to me after my one star review. Like I said originally the fountain pen was fantastic but ink and quality control issues soured me…Scriveiner London sent me a new pen and ink without me asking. This blew me away. They obviously do care about customer service and quality control. Now that I have a working pen I can tell you this fountain pen is actually of very high quality, writes extremely smooth and is just stunning in appearance and handling.They really do deserve the Kings Award.

I’ve been buying and using fountain pens for over 40 years and this one is my favorite, hands down. First of all, the craftsmanship is flawless and beautiful. Secondly, from the second I pulled it out of the box and started writing, it was smooth and just glided across the paper. Third, it has good weight. I don’t like light, thin, and flimsy pens. I need something that fits firmly in my hands and feels like a substantial piece. And finally, the price…UNBELIEVABLE! How they can sell such an awesome product at this price? Not a better deal out there.I will never buy another brand of fountain pen again and I’m sorry it took me so long to find this one. I am a fan of this pen, and the company that produces it, for life.

So the pen without the cap is 17 grams (with an included small ink refill) and the cap alone is 15 grams, which means if you are going to write for a bit then you won't want to post the cap, and then the pen is a little too short for my hand. Less than 5 inches tip to back. They must have anticipated that you won't be posting the cap because, while it snaps onto the front of the pen with a satisfying click, it really just rests on the back and falls off easily. So plan on writing with a short pen and just hold on to the cap. Then, of course, the pen body feels hollow and less premium.The nib seems great. I got the medium point. It is as wide as I would go, but it's perfectly smooth and satisfying on thicker paper.My only other fountain pen is a Lamy safari and that one feels much better to write with for longer periods. Posted or unposted, the weight is evenly distributed throughout. That one is a 9 g plastic pen without the cap and a 7 g plastic cap for comparison. The weight is distributed nicely with or without the cap, and the cap actually stays posted. Though, it definitely doesn't look as fancy.All in all, I think it's an okay value at the $48 I payed. I'll use it, and it looks nice on my desk. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Based on all the rave reviews I expected it to feel a little more balanced and a little more premium. It feels like a Chinese knockoff of something really nice. Incidentally, it does say: Designed in England / Made in China on the box, so I guess it isn't hiding that. There are a lot of fountain pen options out there and this one is just okay. If it doesn't need to be pretty, and you want something to just enjoy the writing experience with, go with a Lamy Safari.Update: One week later... I love this thing. Everything I said above holds true, and yet somehow this is always the pen I reach for first. It's beautiful and it writes well. The short length doesn't bother me as much as it did initially, and the medium nib that seemed slightly too wide for me at first now just feels right. I'm upping my review from 4 to 5 stars. Scriveiner, what have you done to me?

見た目良し！書き味良し！作り良し！欠点は…重い！！キャップ自体も重いのでキャップを外して書かねば…疲れます。短時間の筆記なら問題ないけど…長い時間の筆記はチト疲れるかも？
