Scotts MossEx kills moss without harming your lawn. This product comes in an easy-to-use shaker jug which is perfect for spot treating mossy areas in your yard. After you apply MossEx it will attack undesirable moss, causing it to turn black and disappear. It also contains nutrients to green your lawn. Apply Scotts MossEx in the winter or spring when moss is actively growing. It is best applied when the lawn is moist and tall grass has been mowed to expose low growing moss. To use, simply unscrew cap and remove safety seal from jug, screw cap back onto jug, lift lid open to extend spout, and angle jug downward and sprinkle granules over mossy areas. If additional treatments are needed, wait 2 to 4 weeks between applications. Please note, grass blades may turn black temporarily; however, this condition will disappear after mowing. One 4.59 lb. Jug of Scotts MossEx treats 1,250 sq. Ft.

This stuff works! The moss I in my yard I sprinkled it on died fast! Now I just have to deal with the dead brown moss spots left all over my lawn, but it's better than the moss getting out of control like it was. I should have bought it sooner when I saw the moss forming over winter. I'll definitely be buying this again to tackle to moss much earlier!

I just recently noticed for the first time we had moss in our lawn and I overlooked it for a while, felt like 10 minutes later it spread allot. I searched and found this tried 2 nights ago and it’s already almost made all the moss turn black then vanish. This isn’t a gimmick or a trial. This stuff really works and works GREAT! We have a lot of moss in a shady area of our back yard. A 20 ft x 20 ft area was not even affected, it seems more like a moss booster! I need to try something different.The good news, it was easy to apply….

I was hopeful this would solve our ongoing moss problem around our planting beds and in the sidewalk cracks. It stained our cement sidewalks with orange/brown stain that won’t wash off in the rain. I live in WA state and this is our rainy season. It did help a little with our moss problem but it’s growing back already.

This product worked very well, but took about three weeks to completely kill the moss. I had to go back and reapply to areas that I missed so I am glad that I did not use all the product at one time.The only issue is that I had large areas that were covered by moss only that became very muddy once I removed the moss. Be sure to have straw or other material to put down if you have large moss only areas and apply in winter as I did.
