I like that it keeps the grubs and some insects from eating my lawn. I just wish it didn’t have to be applied every month or it I wish it was less expensive

The lawn upon which this product was applied had become infested with moles and the ornamental plants in and around lawn have been, for a few years, infested with Beetles el Nippon. For several years a product, it turns out to have been a less functional product, available at the local big-box had been used with no success. Although, that product was labeled as a grubicide. This product was applied late summer of 2023 and again in the early summer of 2024. It has, apparently been doing precisely what it claims to do...get those grubs. The lawn has held up better through the heat of the summer; the moles are gone, and there were areas in the lawn upon which it felt as if one were walking on a mattress, and the attendant ornamentals have fared much better because of the reduced Japanese Beetle populationIn short, this stuff worked very well for this user and this user intends to apply it on an annual basis in the future.

Was really hoping for it to work as stuff ain’t cheap! But as attached pics show, lighter images of flattened mounds are before GrubX the darker ones about a week after application. The moles having a field day living craters all over grass area so needless to say not happy. Scott’s claims a guarantee so I’ll test that promise & write a follow up..Follow up: CS was very quick & responsive, bottom line it’s not meant to be a quick solution as it takes time & need to give it a season to drive moles away by killing their food source: grubs! So I’ll give the product the benefit of doubt & up my rating a few notches. If u want faster results got use the gophers traps.

I trust GrubEx every year to kill grubs under my lawn. But this shipment was leaking in the shipping box, and then leaking out of the box. It made a mess on my kitchen floor as I moved it from out front to out back. Thankfully my dog didn't try to lick it up!
