My husband’s friend recommended this kind of product, rather than the other pesticide sprays. Yellow jackets had started entering at the base of my siding. Surprised us because the siding seems so tight against the foam underlayment, but they found a small spot to sneak in! Tried Raid for a couple of weeks, then Stryker 54 for a couple of days. The Stryker seemed to have some effect, but too many bees around. Used the powder, and only saw a couple the next day. Shot it up under the bottom row of siding again the next day, and there aren’t any now, 3 days later! I didn’t buy a duster device, just held the bottle top in place and gave it a few quick squeezes. So happy!!!!

This keeps the carpet beetles out of my sewing room! They will destroy my precious fabrics before I'd ever know it. I am a cancer survivor and I love nature and insects. If I'm going to kill bugs, I want to do it in a very controlled manner that is safe to my and my service dog's health. This goes into the walls where it lies undisturbed so that we're not breathing bug spray. This can also be mixed in with my house paint and keeps carpenter bees/ants out of my house. They are super pollinators and the only insect that can pollinate my tomato plants. So I offer them a home away from mine and we're all happy, safe and well fed.

I'm dealing with a severe German cockroach infestation. I bought a whole fleet of products to kill them off, and I expected to get the best results from the gel baits, Novacide spray, and Gentrol IGR. I am actually getting the best results from D-Fense Dust. While the other products I mentioned WORK VERY WELL, the problems is roaches are SMART (moving to new areas or switching their food source) and develop a TOLERANCE over time. The gel bait? Stopped going for it after two weeks. The initial kill off was great, but after that...nothing. Poison spray? Effective upon direct hit, but leaving a residue for them to walk over (as the can suggests) seemed to mostly repel them and not really kill them. Gentrol? I can't even tell if this product is working, because I haven't seen a single roach with crinkled wings. And there are plenty of mature female adults carrying egg sacks + newly hatched nymphs. That tells me their growth cycle hasn't been effectively disrupted. But D-Fense Dust has killed 100% of the roaches exposed to it even 3 months in. It leaves no horrid toxic chemical smell or sticky residue, is impervious to moisture, and can safely go in hotspots like electrical outlets. You can blast roaches directly, let them take the dust back to their nests, and watch as they accidentally poison and kill the whole colony. We tested it: trapped a roach, put dust in the container, roach wandered through it aimlessly several times, then died. It took several hours to completely kill it, but it did slow down and become lethargic/lay on its back within minutes. I love that this product can wedge its way into any crack or crevice and is virtually indestructible. It kills other bugs, too, but our main concern is roaches. I've re-ordered this product several times. I also got the special applicator for it, and I find it really helpful. Pro tip: treat your door hinges, I found a ridiculous amount of them hiding in there!

A few years ago I had a problem with Yellow Jackets living in the much in front of my house. At that time I bought Bayer, name brand official, "Delta Dust". I couldn't even find the nest so I just sprinkled it around the general area of activity and about a week later they were gone and stayed gone for 2+ years. I'm the type that considers most generics to be the same (especially when it just a chemical mixture... 0.05% should be 0.05% no matter who puts it in the bottle) appeal as name brands so I decided to try to save money... Oops...This summer I had the same problem, and could actually see where the entrances were to the nests, and applied the dust to those areas as well as a general dusting around the entire area, just like I did with the name brand product. I had absolutely NO success in even slowing the population down after a week or so. Sooo... I began applying more and more of this stuff, in some cases even directly on to the yellow jackets (I'm not kidding, I was able to dust a few dozen yellow jackets directly and could see several flying around that were visibly white for the next several days). Absolutely no improvement. After about 5-6 weeks of messing around with this product (using almost the entire bottle) I came up with a few theories:1 - The stuff has possibly been sitting around in a warehouse for a really long time and lost its potency.2 - The fillers used are different that the name brand so it doesn't "stick" as well to the wasps or doesn't retain its waterproof properties as it claims.3 - It's a total scam and is just baby power in a bottle.Obviously this stuff doesn't come with any guarantee but I would genuinely ask for a refund if I thought I would get it. The problem is so out of control now that my only means of dealing with it is my shopvac running for hours and sucking them all up (which does work.. I've caught hundreds if not thousands of them).Next time I'll be buying Bayer brand dust that actually works and I recommend you do the same.
