I have had the laminator since the start of the school year so about six months. It started to have a burning smell at the three months mark. Today I plugged it in and it began smelling horrible and smoke was pouring out. Do not recommend. I have had many laminators through the years. Nothing like this. This is scary!

This has been a good choice. I can do both 8x10 and 9x11 laminating. It's intuitive to use. Quick heat up and cool down. It's lightweight, so easy to move around.

I went with a brand name for a laminator, and I' glad I did. This Scotch brand device works very well. Heats quickly, feeds the lamination pouches smoothly and evenly. No gaps at the edges, and no bubbles in the middle. Very happy with this.
